« The location is fantastic, with the views looking out over the lakes. The facilities at mill village are too few for the number of homes. We could not get booked onto any tennis courts, the swimming pool was always fully booked and the cafe/restaurant always refused to serve as 'over busy'. The shop, it's not really a shop to be honest didn't sell milk or bread, resulting in a 10 minute drive to a local village. « Spent a wonderful 3 nights at Alderley house with friends. House very well equipped, plenty of crockery , glasses etc. Very comfortable living room and lovely and warm . Bedrooms amazing, large and all en suite. Spotlessly clean throughout. Location very good , 10 -15 min walk to Bourton high street . Can recommend Birdland ! Hope to stay here again. « A massive thank you for a wonderful weekend. We have been coming to the lake for 15 years now, returning year after year for the incredible wakeboarding. « Stunning lodge in the most beautiful setting. This was our third visit to Lower Mill Estate. Coot Lodge is a very spacious 3 bedroom lodge - with double height living accommodation, huge decked area, with bbq. It’s close proximity to the spa and pool made it super easy to walk to. Lots of towels and clean bedding. We were spoilt for board Games. The property is so lovely that we didn’t really want to leave to go anywhere! We would highly recommend and would book to visit again. »
