« When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees. « The house was clean and comfy, my husband loved having waffles and coffee for breakfast while the dogs and I enjoyed the eggs. We only stayed one night as we were traveling through but it fit our needs perfectly. Way better than a motel stay. »
