'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and very peaceful. We were unable to find an outdoor light to be able to use the pizza at night so we just cooked inside. We loved the electric blankets and the fireplace, although it took a while to get it started as the wood inside was still damp. The gardens were immaculate and we loved the swing set. Definitely a great place for a friends weekend away.'

'We had a good stay and the house is large and set in greenery. However we found that the house is quite dark. The photos on the site represent the house with all electrical lights on so if you would like a house with natural light that is quite disappointing. I found the check in check out easy and the agency looking after the rental is very responsive. However one of the beds (office sofa bed) was not made for us and we had to make it ourselves. 'We had such a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Cosy and well appointed with gorgeous bedding and a kitchenette. The garden is full with f quaint touches and plenty of birdlife. Close to Bundanoon Pub where we met friends for lunch. Lovely hosts. Perfect weekend.'

'Lovely property/grounds, good location, plenty of room, facilities good, property could do with a good deep clean...while clean and comfortable on the surface there were areas that showed lack of detail and would benefit from a thorough clean and tidy....however this did not negatively impact our stayHost was great with communication and gave prompt responses to our questions.Happy with our stay/visit and would come back again.'

'Great location, nice and clean with well stocked kitchen. Great heating and children enjoyed playing in enclosed veranda room. Plenty of room for extended family. One down side were all double beds were awful!!! We like a firm bed but it was like sleeping on a board. I would need confirmation that the mattresses had been replaced before I rebooked. Shame as everything else was great.'
