'We kregen bij aankomst een warm welkom van Matthew en Laura. De cottage in echt Engelse stijl, een tuin met veel privacy, met zo nu en dan bezoek van een eekhoorn en een konijn en met een prachtig uitzicht op het heuvelachtige landschap. Prima locatie om de omliggende sfeervolle dorpen en steden te bezoeken. Wij hadden hier een fantastisch verblijf!'

'Very cosy cottage in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire hills, well located to discover the highlights of the region. Well equipped, good bathroom with modern shower. Shops and restaurants close by. We had a great stay, would certainly recommend. Fluid communication with the owner.'

'Very spacious, comfortable cosy cottage with all you need for a short or longer stay. Located in beautiful garden with nice terras behind the cottage for a breakfast or diner. Very quiet rural area, nice for walks across the countryside. MTB track closeby in Eastridge. Powis Castle and Shrewsbury are nice and interesting places to visit nearby.'

'Lovely cottage but not where Expedia show it in the town centre. Longden common is nice and the red lion pub just down the road is a good place to eat. Stairs a very steep so something to be aware of not mentioned in details about the rental. '

'The general stay was good however, I contacted the host via the app a few times and never got a response. Also the sofas in the back room were terrible and very uncomfortable, they all need to be refilled or changed. My sister who joined us is pregnant and found it very uncomfortable to rest there. The room with the kitchen had too many tables and chairs and instead having sofas would have been nice there with the one set of table and chairs. In the description it said that one room would have 4...

'Lovely Stay in Drake Cottage. Your accommodation is good value for money and Furnished to a high standard. Myself and Laura was grateful for the homemade valentines cookie. We didn’t need to see Anyone as we knew the check in and other procedures from visiting in October 2020 and July 2021. Hope to be back again soon'

'A lovely cottage, with historical charm, really clean and beautifully renovated, with modern bathroom and kitchen. Stunning location, with Ludlow Castle and amazing views from Clee Hill nearby. The owner, Anne, is kind and helpful, but non-intrusive. '

'Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com'

'Bijzonder gezellig huis in Shropshire. De foto’s op de website geven een reëel beeld van hoe het is. Het huis is ruim en met veel zorg en smaak ingericht. Uitstekende bedden, we hebben er heerlijk geslapen. Shropshire is een prachtige en rustige streek, ideaal als je van wandelen houdt. Wij hebben hier twee heel fijne weken gehad!'

"Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also very clean. The discount at the pub was a nice bonus; they have a nice selection of beers at good prices."
