Avoid this property. The listing is misleading, the host is unresponsive, and the stay was unacceptable. The constant train noise shakes the apartment at all hours—any claim that it is not disruptive is false. The description also misrepresents the bathrooms; there are only two full baths, not “2” as advertised.Communication from the host, William, was virtually nonexistent. Despite repeated requests about early check-in beginning months in advance, I received no meaningful response. More concerning, the final receipt included unauthorized charges for add-ons never selected: a 150 “mid-stay cleaning” (during a four-night stay) and a 90 “late checkout” fee, despite departing at 10am. The host later claimed these services were chosen during booking, which is impossible given they were never presented as options. The mid-stay cleaning, notably, never occurred.The unit itself is an example of poor workmanship. Substandard finishes, unstable bedroom floors, uncomfortable beds, and exposed electrical wiring in the bathroom reflect a rushed, low-quality renovation. Common areas leading to the apartment are also dirty and poorly maintained.This property exemplifies everything wrong with careless rental operations: misleading advertising, hidden fees, lack of accountability, and disregard for basic quality standards.Also note, if you want the blow up mattress or a crib, it’s already there - you probably don’t have to request/pay extra.
