The nearby town of Verteillac is just so cute and has everything you need - especially fresh croissants! Everyone loved the pool. 'Thank you for the hospitality Colette and Laurent. We were warmly received. They were always there for us during our stay. If you want to enjoy the silence you should really book this house. You even see somethimes a deer or a fox walking in the distance. We enjoyed our holiday! 😊'

'We enjoyed our stay in Saint-Front-d'Alemps very much. The house is very nicely renovated and offered all comfort to our family of 10 (6 adults & 4 teenagers). It is also very spacious with large ground floor, and 3 bath rooms upstairs. Pool table was very often used, WIFI connection perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped, with plenty of cutlery and plates. The 2 refrigerators and seperate freezer were also very useful. Plenty room to sit outside, with a nice pool (with child-alarm) and use...

'Le très mauvais temps n'a pas permis d'apprécier la région, ni les extérieurs du gîte (piscine...), dommage. Toutefois Brantôme tout proche vaut le détour et Sarlat aussi mais plus loin. Le gite est spacieux, beaux espaces, etc. Mais les propriétaires ont dû improviser des solutions de remplacement de sanitaires.'

'Een prachtig huisje in het groene... met een mooi zwembad. De ontvangst door de eigenaars was super vriendelijk. Ideaal gelegen voor uitstappen naar de wijn en cognac streek. Er is een bakker en een sparretje op 7min. We hebben een leuke tijd gehad. Zeker een aanrader.'

'Excellent sejour. Tres calme reposant. Les proprietaires tres agréables, discrets et presents si besoin. RAS sur le logement, il ne manque rien pour passer un bon sejour. Très propre. Logement vintage, tout pour s'évader encore plus. Tres bonne literie, important en vacances. Nous reviendrons une période où il y aura moins de moment dans les sites a voir. Région tres belle, tous les villages ont leur charme, marchés en journee, et les marches gourmands en fin de journées super super. Bref super...

'laatste week van September verbleven wij met acht vrienden in dit ruimen verblijf Ons doel was op de racefiets wat mooie routes rijden door de Dordogne, en dat is prima gelukt voldoende rustige wegen en mooie beklimmingen Na de rit is het heerlijk thuis komen in dit verblijf Een lekkere duik in het zwembad daarna met elkaar koken en het laat maken op het overdekte terras De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en spreekt prima Engels met een mooi Frans accent De omgeving is erg rustig maar zeker...

'What a beautiful farm for a relaxing stay! Brice was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to eat and shop. He had good English language skills and was very helpful in guiding our still-developing French! There are nearby places, even on the farm, to hike on trails and explore the woods. We ate our meals on a table in the backyard watching the sheep grazing around us. All in all, a beautiful place and time! I highly recommend it!'

"We enjoyed our stay in Saint-Front-d'Alemps very much. The house is very nicely renovated and offered all comfort to our family of 10 (6 adults & 4 teenagers). It is also very spacious with large ground floor, and 3 bath rooms upstairs. Pool table was very often used, WIFI connection perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped, with plenty of cutlery and plates. The 2 refrigerators and seperate freezer were also very useful. Plenty room to sit outside, with a nice pool (with child-alarm) and use the bbq. Benjamin offered us a very nice welcome and was available for every question we would have during our stay. Dordogne is a beautiful region with many nice villages to discover (Sarlat, Domme, Bergerac, Bordeaux...). Keep in mind you have to drive a bit to get there. Supermarkets and bakery in 15 till 30 minute drive. To be recommended!!"
