'locatie OK , ontvangst goed / plezierig. Wij verbleven niet in het hoofd gebouw maar in een van de bijgebouwen . Een krakerig, knierepend , irriterend geluid in of net buiten de kamer verstoorde de nacht rust . Dit een aantal malen gemeld maar er kon zoals ik verteld was niets aan gedaan worden . Al met al niet goed en niet aan te bevelen . '

'Het hotel was prima. De bedden en de badkamer waren ok. Personeel was vriendelijk. Jammer dat je tevoet nergens naartoe kon omdat het zon gevaarlijke baan was . Ontbijt was ook ok.'

'Goed ingericht en schoon huis in een stille wijk en dicht bij grote supermarkt. In Libourne is het busvervoer gratis. Bij de receptie hebben ze de vertrektijden. Ook kregen we bij aankomst veel informatie over de streek. Prima bedden. Personeel erg behulpzaam en aardig. Een plek om terug te komen.'

'Really wonderful accommodation. Walking distance to town. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. 'The proprieter and his wife are very interested in pleasing their guests. The accommodation was quite lovely..........but up a steep flight of circular stairs. It lacked a seating area and a chest of drawers. The home-made jams ere wonderful when matched with the fresh croissants in the morning.'

The dinners (table d'hôtes) were phenomenal with excellent wine pairings from the region. We also very much appreciated the recommendations on things to do in the vicinity and which scenic roads to take. We felt like we stayed with family. It was so peaceful and restful that we can't wait to go back and stay longer. Very highly recommended!'
