'Lovely staff. Pets were welcome and room was clean and comfortable. Would come again'

'Location was good.'

'Parking available. Rooms are clean. Excellent breakfast.'

'Good hotel near Maxim Park, plenty of power outlets to charge electrical devices. Due to its location one would need a car. Recommended for businessmen, not necessarily for tourists.'

'Goed hotel, alleen jammer dat als je een kamer beneden hebt aan de parkeergarage zijde. Dat het s'nachts net zo licht in je kamer is ,zoals buiten van de lantaarnpaal. '

'A basic hotel with simple rooms. The fourth bed in our room was noticeably shorter, so my 13-year-old child didn’t quite fit. That said, the restaurant was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. And although the rooms were quite basic, they still met all our needs.'

'Lovely hotel in an historic landscape and very impressive Clyde Falls, unfortunately staff not always friendly.'

'Stayed here a few times over the years. We cannot fault it. Will definately stay again.'

'Stunning x Had a wonderful overnight stay. Room was immaculate and such a comfy bef. Scottish breakfast in the morning hit the spot. Staff so firendly. Will be back as visit the area regularly for family.'

'Great location. Beautiful house and accommodation. Really friendly owners. Great breakfast.'

More comfort wouldn't have mattered anyway since sleeping was impossible due to the bright lights and drunk screamers outside. The bathroom's low, tiny sink and lack of any shelves, storage or hooks, forcing us to put everything on the floor, left us with back pain. Halfway through our visit...

'Decent stop with plenty of parking. Room was clean however walls were light and you could hear other people.'
