« Superb pub and BnB just outside of Ventnor. The staff were awesome, and the bed and room were really comfortable. The whole trio of Islander pubs / BnBâs on the Isle of Wight, which includes the Buddle, are a real treat to stay in, all of them are superbly well done and extremely welcoming. »
« The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food.
Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent.
I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes »

« Exceptional hotel which has been recently refurbished to a really high standard. Our room was stunning, beautifully decorated with picture perfect sea views. We had everything we needed in the room, hair dryer, coffee maker,tea, fridge, bottled water etc. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, John and Francie, who were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious too. Highly recommended and we will definitely return. »

"Unpretentious hotel with everything you need. My only complaint is that there are no usable sockets next to the bed for charging your phone, unless you move the furniture and unplug one of the bedside lamps. Otherwise, friendly staff, quiet and comfortable room."
