'The description of the hotel and area were very misleading. The hotel is in a business district and due to the Easter/ Holy week holidays nothing in the area was open. the hotel was deserted and I may have been the only guest. No restaurant, no breakfast at hotel or near by, essentially a ghost town. I sadly prepaid for 5 nights. When I checked out after one night there was no accommodation for a partial refund. 'Lovely staff, handy to have the shuttle but the traffic is chaos at certain times of day. Had a very early start and the breakfast was welcomed and again very well staffed. The usual comfort level for Holiday Inns, always consistent in my experience. Staff here went above and beyond and the restaurant was also a good addition.'

'Facility is new and in excellent condition. Nice location with easy access to Barranco. Staff is very supportive. Some amenities and common areas are available in the Intercontinental Hotel next door but easily accesible.
Breakfast is excellent with variety of fruits and buffet.

'The hotel is superb and the staff is attentive and friendly. I would suggest improving the quality and speed of the breakfast buffet and à la carte, there’s a lot on display, however not much that really speaks Peruvian, and waiting time for an omelette is at least thirty minutes on a not very busy day. Same with the restaurant, one would expect a better quality. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend nonetheless.'

'Clean room, good location and friendly staff. Our safe and fridge both needed replacing and it took multiple asks to get it done but this is par for the course here. Room maintenance was pretty minimal - basically just made the bed. The morning we left for the airport there was no running water and we had to go showerless to the airport which was disappointing. Again, bad communication is par for the course and not necessarily a Sonesta-specific problem.'

'Exceptional service from the beginning all the way to the end of the trip. Everybody was well trained and professional, that make fell like home. And the front desk Felipe called me by my name since the check in, thank you.
The hotel is very well located, spectacular views to the ocean and shores and also very nice places to go walking or running.
No doubt this will be my place when come back to Lima.'
