The house is large and has a lot of natural light. The side of the property has a river to put kayaks etc in, we loved that. The property is large, great fire pit. It is a shared beach and everyone was very friendly. We were there the 2nd and 3rd weeks of Aug, so not overly busy. The lake is so clean and the call of the Loons was so wonderful. We would stay there again

Great property as advertised. Having small kids, the lake beach right off the lawn with chairs/toys already there was so convenient. It was so nice that they let you use the paddle boards and kayaks too! Only thing I would change would be to have more bathrooms as there was only 1 small one, but we knew that going in. However if more people were staying/ multiple families, that could get tricky. Also, be sure to bring all the cloth things you need, in addition to sheets/ towels, bring dishtowels, handtowels, blankets for lying on the couch, etc. Other than those small inconveniences, the house itself was nice and spacious, there were games and puzzles there, an air hockey table, two tvs, etc. It was a lot of fun and a nice space. We appreciate the hosts and their responsiveness!

We had such a great time at this property. The beach was perfect for us. The kids spent every day in the water! The house was wonderful also. We enjoyed the fire pit but my favorite time was sitting in the chairs early in the morning watching the lake wake up. So peaceful and serene! Thank you!

Loved this place!

I've had the pleasure of staying at this incredible lakefront home multiple times, and each visit leaves me more relaxed and refreshed than the last. It's located on Leavitt Bay at Ossipee Lake, NH. The house has water on two sides which makes the setting perfect! It feels like you're a million miles away from the everyday hustle.The house itself is spacious, well laid out, and comfortably accommodates a large group without feeling crowded. It’s equipped with everything you need, but without feeling cluttered—just clean, open, and welcoming. I also love that each time I return, I notice thoughtful upgrades that make the experience even better.You can spend evenings in comfortable adirondack chairs by the campfire which is so relaxing. But my favorite part of each day is waking up early, sipping coffee on the deck, while watching the sunrise on the lake. It’s pure peace.I highly recommend this location, especially for families with kids. It’s the kind of place where lifelong memories are made.

Beautiful lake and home but not private at all

The lake and home are great but the location is right in the middle of a shared space/beach. We arrived to find people all over our lawn and a party all around us. We expected a beautiful, private location based on pics but that is not accurate. It was mostly fine during the week, but we constantly had people right outside the house. The listing is "factually correct" but the pics are misleading.

We had a wonderful time. The house and property are immaculate. The lake is wonderful. The boats were enjoyed by all. The only negative was that the full and half bath were both on the first level so those staying upstairs had to come downstairs to use the bathroom during the night.

Great week on the lake!

Our family had a great week on the lake! The house was perfect and had everything we needed! We enjoyed swimming, playing on the beach, playing on the swingset and using the kayaks and canoes. We were able to rent a boat for the week and keep it at the dock, which was amazing.

A Perfect Vacation Spot

My family and I celebrated my 70th birthday for a week at this property. It had everything we needed! There was a dock for our rented boat and lots of water sports and fishing to enjoy. The house was spacious and very comfortable. This place was a great find and the owner couldn’t have been nicer. I would highly recommend this property.

Great house

This house has everything you want. It's very clean, the kitchen is great for cooking, It was nice to have air conditioning, and the beds were comfortable. Troy was very responsive. Our only issue was the very poor internet but he said he would work on that. It was also a very nice surprise when we found out he added a half bath. Highly recommend this lake home.

Great Family Vacation

Our family, two parents and four young adult children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious, comfortable and easily accommodated all our needs. We enjoyed the large deck, fire pit and night sky. It was a real bonus being able to dock our boat so we could enjoy water skiing, fishing, and tubing. We had a wonderful family vacation!!

Great 5 bedroom house that comfortably fit the whole family.

We had an awesome week on the lake with our 2 young children and our extended family. There was plenty of room on the main floor fro everyone to spread out and a beautiful deck to enjoy the lake views. Would love to go back.

Great spot on the lake

We had a great week on the lake. The kids enjoyed the paddle boards and jumping off the dock in the swimming area, as well as the fishing “hole”. Having central air was a big plus since it was a hot week.

Wonderful getaway!

We had a wonderful time. This home is right on the lake. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets from the porch which looks out over the lake. This home was clean upon arrival and we had plenty of space (5 adults, 5 kids). The owner was easy to communicate with, house rules were clear and simple. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. Kids enjoyed having “their own space” upstairs to watch tv , play games or play air hockey (which was a big hit). We enjoyed use of paddle boards, pedal boat and canoe. We all really enjoyed our time here! It was a really nice way to end the summer!

Fun at the Bays

We rented this property for a week with friends and family. Troy’s communication prior to and during our stay was excellent. The house was comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. The space upstairs was perfect for the kids to stay busy if they were inside. The house is in a great location for boating, fishing, and swimming. There is even a swing set to keep younger kids entertained. The availability of a newly upgraded dock was perfect for us as we brought our boat. One consideration is that there is only one bathroom and the small shower could be a challenge for some. This was our second stay at this property and we would definitely rent again!

Really perfect spot!

We had four adults and two kids aged 4 and 7. Absolute blast. The water is clean and so warm in mid Sept! The beaches and sand around the water are pristine and there was even a swingset that kept our youngest busy for hours. The windows in the house are set up so you can see the kids playing wherever they are. The house was clean and spacious. Having both central air and heat was a plus for cold mornings and hot afternoons! House had great TVs and Roku and was really comfortable with plentiful seating. All the pots and pans you could need and two fridges. Little store 2 mins up the road has all the essentials. We loved using the paddle boards, paddle boat and canoe. Caught pike, smallies and large mouth right off the back yard! Saw a giant, old beautiful turtle. Fire pit was perfect for s’mores. The local neighbors are all so friendly. And the owner answered all my questions, made some really helpful timing exceptions for us, was super easy to reach, and was very friendly. We will definitely stay again!

Great week at the lake

We have been coming to Ossipee for years and tend to stay at a different house each summer. This was our first time at this house so wanted to share our thoughts. Pros: -There is a second fridge in the kitchen which was so nice for those vacation beverages (and much better than trying to keep them cool in a cooler like usual). If you do need ice, though, there is a market at the end of the street. - Great room upstairs is great spot for kids to hang out, watch a movie, play ping pong or air hockey -Stream on side of house was perfect for kayaks. The kids loved fishing there - Association beach has swing set, grill, chairs, picnic tables and a nice shallow swimming area with raft (perfect for kids) Cons -I feel like communication could have been a little bit better from the owner. I received an updated contract the night before that I had to print, sign, scan, etc. There also was not a binder in the house to provide details (rules around trash/recycling, what we had access to at the beach, etc) -Beds could have been more comfortable. Many of them seemed old and were squeeky - No dishwasher, washer or dryer. This is not uncommon on this part of the lake due to impact to septic. Had we known this, we would have packed differently. Other things to be aware of -This house is part of an association and is right in front of the association beach so there is less privacy. Some neighbors walk through the yard to get to their dock. On the flip side, our kids made friends with others in the association and had fun on the association raft, swingset, etc. Overall, it was a great week and this house has lots of space for groups on the larger side.

Great Family Time

I rented the property for my daughter, son and grandchildren. The property was large enough for everyone and the beach and lake was great. Great night’s by the campfire with the kids! Would recommend for any family! Would love to stay again.

Great lake house!

We had a great time at the lake house . We were 2 families sharing the house for the week . Very clean and well taken care of - wonderful to have the central air and fans throughout. The lake was perfect for the kids , kayaking and canoeing and the swing set couldn't have been closer. The neighbors were very friendly and about 40 minutes to North Conway . Overall great stay and would definitely visit again !

Right on the lake and the view was beautiful we enjoyed are stayed

The house wasn’t as cleaned as we thought it would be. We didn’t use any fans and we didn’t clean them either pretty dirty. Had to do some cleaning when we got there not much. Filled the gas it was almost empty had a little problem keeping it running the first nigh. Yes I would rent it again and have already been sharing the fun and house to others. It was a great week both weather wise and house wise

Perfect spot for families of all sizes

This house was clean, had lots of space, and had everything you could possibly need. The owners were super helpful and available. The water is shallow and perfect for toddlers and young children. There is also a “brook” on the side of the house that my kids loved swimming in. They had a great time on the playground and making friends. There is a store that is walkable from the house that we went to every afternoon for ice cream. We definitely will be back and recommend this spot!
