'This place exceeded our expectations and it was a great location for getting round the area. Rooms weee spacious and lots of little things that made our stay comfortable.'

'My wife and I didn't really enjoy our stay here this week. It's a little hard parking around the pickups in the driveway. The smell of the room really hit us hard - mildew and too much potpourri. Felt like visiting your grandparents' house. The room & bathroom are stuffed with Americana knickknacks & art you either enjoy it or, like us, are overwhelmed. It's funky, funky, funky. Positives include it was very clean, they offer lots of food items, they have many toiletries in case you forget...

'Nice staff, clean quiet rooms, good wi-fi, abundant towels. Fresh coffee available round the clock in the lobby. Between jet lag and the spring clock change I didn't get to try the breakfast. I also did not use any of the other amenities (fitness room/whirlpool/business center) so I can't speak to those. Great little restaurant (Elmer's) a literal 5 min walk from the hotel and there is a McDonald's, a 7-11 and a gas station mart even closer. Easy on and off the highway, but not in a "pretty...

'We have stayed here a few times because it is relatively close to my in-laws. This time the room we had appeared very clean but the furnishings were showing quite a bit of ware. Staff friendly. We checked in late because of the Thanksgiving holiday. The first time we stayed we checked out the breakfast but not much to eat for us other than yoghurt. We have special dietary needs. '

'The pool was clean but I was disappointed that the hot tub was completely gone when they said they had one and also had pictures of one on the website. The hallways smelled like it was a friendly 420 place. The rooms did smell clean but when you walked into the hallways it was horrible. Staff was friendly and rooms seemed spacious but would not recommend staying at this location if you’re looking for something nice. Luckily we did a staycation and just wanted to swim. '

'I travel with a service dog. They have a potty area out back but it is full of nutria. They always make me pay a pet fee despite it being illegal. Breakfast is very good! Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Doors are LOUD when they close. Every room I have had is noisy. Laundry, elevator, ice machine, banging doors etc. but I stay here all the time for convenience and have become used to it. '

'The man that runs this business is great. He remembers who I am each time I return to his motel. It makes me feel special. He's always very kind and friendly. He is always available to help me out with anything I need and to give advice about places nearby. My girlfriend and I have chosen this motel every time we go to Portland for the kind staff, comfortable beds and very low prices. Also it's near plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great place to stay! '

'This hotel was very clean and had recently been updated. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location was close to stores and restaurants. The hotel felt secure, they locked the door from 9pm to 9am and you could not enter without your room key. The breakfast was a nice addition. This hotel met our needs for our one night stay. '

'Non-smoking, but the building reeked of cigarettes. There are doors on the wall between room, and those doors had gaps at the top and bottom meaning the 3AM family loud conversation happening in the room next door was loud through the door gaps. Stuffing the gaps with towels didn't help much. The breakfast was limited with burnt coffee. 1 of the 2 key cards didn't work. '
