'We used the cabin as a launching pad to explore the Redwoods, and its proximity to Stout Grove was wonderful. We filled all 6 available sleeping places as a family. Space was tight but there were many comforts that made the space enjoyable: homemade cookies upon arrival, lots of blankets and extra pillows, and wonderful smelling hand soap in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and Bridget had bottled water in a jug in the fridge, too. A few more mats at the front and back door entrances...

They are close to grocery stores and restuartants. The property was clean, cute and secure. You won't regret staying here.'

Although there is not a traditional kitchen, we did well with the microwave, toaster oven with baking capability, a refrigerator and portable double burner. Patty, the hostess, was communicative, helpful, and kind.'

'Place is well organized and had all the essentials, but definitely was not as well kept as I expect it would be during peak season. The hammocks in back were covered in mold, the yard was filled with leaves from the Fall, one of our towels had a bloody booger wiped on it either from previous stays or was missed during the clean, and our sheets had some stains on them. Both beds were quite firm and pillows are soft. The internet is slow and proved to be difficult if two people wanted to...
