'Fine modernised hotel at walking distance from the citycenter but somewhat isolated near the harbour. Fine service, well trained staff, good breakfast. Less than 10 minutes from the ferry to Digby which was very convenient given the rather early daily departure.'

'The maid service was outstanding as usual and the morning breskfast we enjoyed. Having fresh fruit and hot beverages for the guests yo enjoy is so very appreciated. The room was as always exactly what we needed. Just a small recommendation was that the mattress was a bit to soft for our liking. But, the hotel has reached out and all was taken care of and does not reflect on us returning on our next trip back to Saint John nb at the Hampton Inn. '

'Er wordt ontbijt aangeboden, meer een Canadees ontbijt. Jammer van plastic bestek met uiteraard de wegwerpcups. Direct aan een drukke weg, wat in de nacht zeker meevalt. De kamer is gigantisch groot. Ontbijt in een weekend of fst dag kun je niet gebruiken als je met de ferry van 8.00 gaat, omdat je 1 uur tevoren daar moet zijn. Het ontbijt is dan niet om 6, maar vanaf 7 beschikbaar. '

'Ook wij kregen de upgrade van de goedkope kamer naar de queen beds. Mooie kamer, de houten inrichging stoort niet. Netjes gebouwd, met een gedeelde overdekte veranda voor alle kamers. winkels vlak bij. Reversing falls op 5 minuutjes met de auto, dus je kunt (moet!) op verschillende tijden een blik werpen.'

'Staff were helpful and friendly, room was a generous size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was on the dirty side and very dated (toilet barely flushed). The hotel offered no amenities but had a basic free breakfast. Lots of parking, however not in a walkable or convenient location. Room walls were thin but no road or outside noise present, but would be an issue with loud neighbours. Would recommend this hotel if you are budget conscious or need to stay for 1 night. Longer stays...

'The host was accommodating and helpful. I appreciated the kitchen, as it let me stay in and relax over the weekend. Kitchen had an apartment-sized fridge and freezer, full-size stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee pot. As well, there were lots, a frying pan, dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils. Bathroom had towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Smart TV with Rogers basic cable. Bed was ok for one person. Neighbourhood was quiet. Parking on site. '

'Based on other guests we saw at this place, it is not recommended for kids, would look elsewhere. If you are adults who need a stop for the night, it's fine. Try to stay closer to the road, like Room 1. Rm 1 is louder due to secondary road traffic (not too bad) but removed from other-guest interference/ noise. Am thinking it's good for a couple of guys on motorcycles who are passing through. Found one large bug, but only one.'
