Apollo Home "Maison confortable et indépendante près du château d'Ursino"

Maison indépendante, récemment rénovée et soigneusement finie, jouxte le château d'Ursino, le marché aux poissons historique "A Piscaria", les thermes de l'Adresse et non loin de la Piazza Duomo (350 mètres). La maison a une cuisine bien équipée avec un grand salon, la chambre est confortable et romantique.
Le quartier est au cœur du centre historique, où les principaux sites d'intérêt sont accessibles à pied. De plus, compte tenu de la forte concentration de trattorias, restaurants, pubs et clubs siciliens typiques, vous respirerez la vie nocturne de Catane et donc très populaire ainsi que le jour même le soir et la nuit, ce qui rend le séjour particulièrement charmant et paisible.


"Apollo Home" est une maison calme et réservée située en plein coeur du centre historique, à quelques pas du "Château Ursino" et de l'ancien marché aux poissons appelé "A piscaria". Toute la zone regorge de restaurants typiques, et elle est entourée de sites historiques tels que le "Terme dell 'URL" et le "Terme Achilleiane". La place de la cathédrale, "Piazza Duomo" est à moins de 200 mètres. La superficie totale de l'appartement est de plus de 50 m² et il a été récemment rénové et soigneusement fini.

Formidable

La localisation est parfaite : dans le centre-ville, proche de la plage et des arrêts de bus. Un appartement très propre avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Diego a même pensé au parasol. Et l’accueil est chaleureux et attentionné. Un hôte formidable.

Perfect quiet place in center of Catania!

We had a wonderful stay for approximately 6 nights. From booking questions to the overall communication with the host to greeting us when we arrived. It couldn’t have went any smoother. Three C's: Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

Our host, Diego, was incredibly resourceful and communicated well before, during and after our stay. The location made all of Catania's center accessible by foot. Driving would have been insane, so we parked where Diego recommended (7 min. walk). The neighborhood has fun stuff going: restaurants, the castle, little piazza, music. With that comes a bit of trash that seems difficult to manage by all (certainly not expected of one home owner).

Best location ever!

We loved our stay. The location is perfect -close the city center, the boisterous fish market is right around the corner, and many sites close by within walking distance. Many eateries near by as well.As for accommodations, they were great with a very comfortable bed, quiet location even though it is right around the corner from all the action. One thing to note, is you must take a very fast shower as the hot water runs out quickly (maybe 5 minutes). Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

Great place to stay in Catania

This is an absolutely perfect place to stay. The house/apartment is kept in perfect conditions. Super clean and looks like the pictures you see. I cooked two wonderful meals there. I was able to shop for local ingredients without much of a walk at all. This place is right near the castle and certainly directly in the heart of Catania. Diego, communicates perfectly, and helped me with parking and to understand the area. You can’t go wrong with this place.

Great Location, Great Host

We had a great stay in Apollo Home. The location can't be beat--everything is close by, easily walkable. There are restaurants and coffee bars everywhere. We loved all of it.Diego is a wonderful host. He was there to check us in, went over all we needed to know, and even showed up the morning we were leaving to see that the cab he had ordered for us (not his usual company) showed up on time. He's very kind and friendly.The flat is very clean and comfortable. The renovations to modernize an old building have been done nicely. We especially loved the old brick and stone so beautifully exposed in spots. It's also quiet. The thick walls keep noise at bay, as do the modern sound-blocking windows. The balcony doors let in plenty of light and a glimpse into the neighbourhood, which is safe and friendly. Highly recommended for a stay in Catania.

Comfortable and Convenient

Cozy apartment conveniently located to the center of Catania. You are a one minute walk to Castello Ursino and a five minute walk to Catania's central fish market. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes located within easy walking distance of the apartment. It was very clean and comfortable. Diego was an outstanding host who was always available. He answered all our questions and arranged for our taxi transportation from and return to the airport. We had an enjoyable and a memorable experience.

Loved house, location & support of property owner

This location is surrounded by great restaurants and nightlife. Our morning cappuccino (1.5 euros) was just steps away from our door. There is no easier way to get picked up for a tour or tell a driver where to take you home than being next to the Castello Ursino, a short block from our flat. Diego was kind enough to schedule a service to and from the airport and they were prompt. We want to stay here again!

Live next to a Castle from the 1200s

Before choosing an apt in Catania, I looked at different traveling sites and read the reviews. Diego’s apt seemed too good to be true, but it WAS NOT too good to be true. It was wonderful! I wondered about an apt in an alley, too, but it was safe, private, and lovely even though a number of restaurants filled with happy customers were clustered around a small palazzo where the alley opened out, across the street from Castle Ursino. (Be sure to visit!)The apt was quiet, but more than quiet, it was beautiful, clean, spacious, and incredibly well equipped. The tasteful decor including the ambiance of the historical stone reminders of long ago, the comfort of the furnishings, and the air conditioning made us happy to return “home” everyday. Last, but certainly not least, was our host, Diego, who did everything possible to make our stay fun and memorable. If I lived in Catania, I would definitely want him in my circle of friends—funny, generous, accommodating, and honest. Thank you, Diego! Ciao!

The perfect stay

Everything about this property was perfect for me. It was spacious and had every amenity. The location was incredible It allowed me to visit Taormina and Ortigia/Syracusa as day trips. Then gave me a relaxing home base where I could walk to the fish market, loads or restaurants, the theater, the shopping on Via Etnea, and see beautiful history everywhere… Diego was very accommodating and so kind. I can’t wait to go back.

Perfect stay in Catania!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we are so thankful we did! Diego was extremely communicative with us and answered all our questions throughout our stay. The apartment is in a wonderful location; easy to get to amazing restaurants, bars, and things to see and do in the area. Diego even arranged for a driver to come pick us up from the airport and transport us to/from Taormina. Grazie mille Diego!!

Hidden Gem

Diego was the perfect host. The apartment was clean and as described. Bed was comfortable. The location was second to none. Perfectly positioned to walk to any attraction in the city. It rained almost the entire time we were in Catania-unseasonably per the locals. The volcano erupted during a rain storm and ash flooded the city as dirt rain drops. Quite the experience! We did hire a driver and took a day trip to Mt Etna and Gambino Winery. No views in the rain and fog but totally worth the time and money, regardless! Felt like we lived in the town with the locals -a cool experience- until the sun finally came out and the cruise ship passengers descended. The city was then vibrant and the open markets colorful. Highly recommend this apartment. Would stay again!

Short Title

Diego the owner is a fantastic guy and will do his utmost to help you. The flat is exceptionally clean and is located 10 min from the main square. All is within walk-in distance. If you are looking to discover Catania this is an ideal location to be based.
