« This is our 2nd time at the retreat. The location is excellent and plenty of wonderful walks around for us all. The home is clean and tidy and the owners yet next door do not interfere with you unless you need them.We rested and it was perfect for us - peace and quiet. »

« The property is small, and perhaps a little dated, but was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was good for us, and ideal for a short break. »

« A spacious and comfortable lodge with a pleasant view of the lake (not the marina). It is in a quiet spot slightly uphill from the marina itself. Apart from the Canada geese on the grass, we saw tufted ducks on the lake, a heron in the reeds and oystercatchers on the grass. Plus other birds in the trees. Please note that the cooling towers are not visible from the lodge because of the trees. In any case they are decommissioned. »
