Quintessential Sienna Farmhouse

The property was absolutely beautiful, and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. This farmhouse by far was my favorite place to stay during our trip. The owner Nicola was gracious and helpful in recommending a day trip to a Montepulciano winery. The breakfast, which was brought to the room each morning, was wonderful, and the food at Le Pietra Vive Ristorante was one of the best meals we've ever had. There is a beautiful picnic area where we spend our evenings having wine and cheese. If you are going to rent a car and have your own transportation, I would highly recommend staying here.

A picture perfect experience in the country outside of siena.

We loved our three day stay plus a wonderful dinner . The only negative was we should have stayed longer! Until next time.

Siena countryside

Charming spot. We felt at home, but found keys to front door a bit challenging. You will need a car if you stay here but parking is no problem at all. Host was attentive to inquiries and very accommodating. Great on site restaurant. Very little English spoken on property, which may be why we did not take advantage of promoted activities such as cooking class, truffle hunting or visit to vinyards. Continental breakfast included and is served to the apartment at 9 a.m. punctually each morning (fyi, no sleeping in). Very few problems to report, and the few that cropped up, host satisfied immediately. WiFi available and it worked well. Shower is super tiny. Steps up to apartment are not easy to navigate
