Amazingly beautiful and well equipped

I stayed here with family. We cooked a big meal. The home was beautiful and clean with fantastic views of the pond. Everything you could want was there. The beds were comfortable. The home is well and thoughtfully stocked with plenty of towels and tp as well as a throughly equipped kitchen. It is very well laid out for entertaining as well as for having your own space in the midst of company. I can't wait to go back when it's warmer to enjoy the pond. It is peaceful and well maintained. I would come back here again and again.

Very nice house

The house is exactly what the listing describes. Best place I’ve stayed at! They had everything you could think of, and if you forget something, they must likely have it there. Host answers pretty quick. We had a great time, we hope to be back to use that beach! I was a disappointed, there was a storm coming in, so I wasn’t able to stay my full time & I didn’t get offered any kind of reimbursement for the night I missed.

Beautiful lake house

We enjoyed our stay, the house was beautifully decorated, supplied and comfortable. The views were great, enjoyed watching folks ice fish. Also, had cold enough weather, the lake ice would sing. Enjoyed the area, would return and highly recommend.

Family Thanksgiving Trip

We stayed during the Thanksgiving week and had an exceptional time. We had awesome communication with the property manager before and during the stay. We received snow during our stay, there were salt and sand buckets for our use and they came to shovel early in the morning. Very spacious, well furnished especially the kitchen.

Very glad we returned

This is an outstanding property, with the only issue being the vehicle noise from the street. When you are on the lakeside of the property, you don't notice it too much. The property was very clean, is as advertised or better, and the owner is very easy to work with, responding very quickly to any questions we have had. We hope to return next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this house for the second year in a row. It was an extremely comfortable house equipped with everything we needed from kitchen stuff to water toys. It was especially easy with our two toddlers to have shallow water and a sandy area to play in.

Beautiful place for a vacation!

Wonderful week here with my husband, daughter, son & daughter-in-law, our 18 mo. old Grandson and dogs! The house is amazing; beds were very comfortable, all the furnishings were very nice and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would ever need! The gardens are just gorgeous and the little beach and sandy entry to the lake were perfect, especially for our grandson's 1st time in a lake. He loved it, almost as much as our Lab, Bear! The weather was great and we spent a lot of time in the lake every day! Oh and the neighbors were really friendly! This is a perfect place for an awesome family vacation! We will definitely be back!

Incredible, Incredible, Incredible!!

We came up to Casco for a few days from Maryland, and this is such an incredible cabin. The location is so convenient as for getting to town for groceries and supplies, but also being right on the pond is breathtaking. Having a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the water every day was a dream. If we ever come back to Casco, will DEFINITELY look for this place.

House has everything you’ll need!

We loved our short stay at the Casco house! It was equipped with absolutely everything, we’ve never had such a stocked kitchen in a rental before. It was fun watching the ice fisherman, snowmobiles, and even eagles out during the day around the pond. Very relaxing and cozy. We hope to make it back during the warmer months to enjoy the water and little beach as well.

Amazing Home

I can’t recommend this home enough. Great place to spend the holidays. Entire home decorated for holidays. It felt as if we were home. Property is beautiful and the home had everything we needed. Would love to come back in the summer!

Probably the best amenities of any vrbo yet

The house is located right in the water. There’s plenty of room for family to run. We’ve stayed at a lot of places. This place has by far the most sheets, towels, toys, games, pots, pans, etc etc etc. we hope to be back regularly!

A Gem!

Could not ask for a better stay. We all enjoyed our stay in a this gorgeous house on a very quiet lake. The house had all amenities that are needed to have a wonderful experience. Look forward to future visits. Also, the garden is breathtaking and was wonderful to sit on the beach and look at garden in full bloom. Thank you for sharing your house with others!

Celebrating my 60th birthday!!

Beautiful house!! It has everything u need. Lake toys, kid toys, dishes, towels, laundry. Super clean and very spacious!! Saw some lions and a bald eagle on pond. Would recommend for families and couples. All bedrooms had queen beds and plenty of space for everyone!!!

Check in was easy. The house was exactly as listed. My kids love playing in the sand and kayaking. The deck off of the dining area was a beautiful place to have coffee, watch the sun come up, and listen for loons.

Thanksgiving Stay

The property was clean and had everything we needed to host a Thanksgiving Dinner. There were views of the lake from all windows in the home. Nice deck to sit at for morning coffee and view of the lake. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Nice rear yard for my dog as well as clean beach area. Main floor bedroom was a plus for senior traveling with us. Communication with the owner was excellent! Overall this was a great property which we look forward to staying at again in the future.

Nice, but suffering from neglect

The home is vey nice, and the location on the lake is prime. Fog rising in the morning is spellbinding and tranquil. No question about that! However, there are some issues of neglect: The window closure in the upstairs bedroom is broken. The door to the deck has weather stripping that is loose and prevents full closure. The stuffed animal moose behind the door is torn, perhaps from a previous visitor with pets? The smoke alarm seems to have been tampered with in one of the bedrooms. I had to go out and replace the battery because the hard wiring connector was not fully connected. The first two nights the low battery alarm went off. There were two battery operated clocks that also did not work due to bad batteries that I also replaced. The hand written signs are and plastic protectors are very amateurish. The ping pong table is not real, and was a dissapointment to me. The foosball table has a ball missing so cannot be played. With all of these issues, especially the smoke alarm chirping at random times, my instict was to call the property manager. This I did on the first night, and then 3 more times, but I never got anything but an answering machine. I finally got a call back when we were driving home after our stay!!

Fun fall getaway 😊

We spent a few days at this peaceful pond with our adult kids. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. We had some chilly weather so we were able to spend some time inside with a beautiful fire going while we played games, ate and simply relaxed. Beautiful view and accommodations. Thanks!

Peaceful Waterfront Home

This property is lovely and as described in the listing. Our family enjoyed a week there with all of the comforts of home. The pond is beautiful and the beach area perfect for swimming and boating. We didn't want to leave. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I would definately recommend!

Great beach

We had multiple communications with the property manager and all communication was timely. The home itself was clean and the listing is accurate. If you are considering this property, you should be aware that it is on a busy (for Maine) road. We encountered issues with sinks draining very slowly, and kitchen water pressure being low. The property manager was able to get the sinks to drain better, but the kitchen water pressure was not resolved. We did have a recurring issue with flies in the home. The home is very spacious and the yard by the lake is great. The beach is perfect and even with two rainy days, we never felt crowded. We had one accident during our stay and the Property Manager handled it very well. We would consider coming back but had already made plans for a different location for next year.

Beautiful stay on the lake

My parents, fiance, brother and his family spent 2 weeks here. The lake is incredibly quiet and makes for a beautiful view from all the rooms and floors. We loved using the kayaks and fire pit out back. The house is spacious so there was plenty of room for all of us to hang out. Would happily stay again.
