Ascend the steep stairs to find two cosy bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed and the other with twin beds. Nether Kellet is a village located a few miles south of Carnforth where you’ll find a selection of convenience stores and supermarkets that stock homely essentials, whilst a delicious pub lunch can be had at a choice of public houses. For a scenic afternoon, head for a rural walk within Thwaite Brow Woods or a scenic hike through the Warton Crag Local Nature Reserve. Lancaster city is also a short drive away with its splendid castle, butterfly house and popular University; whilst the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales can also be reached in less than 30 minutes by car.
