It appeared to be quite difficult to get a taxi and the lady behind the bar went through a great stretch to make sure we got a taxi to arrive just in time to get our flight.'

Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. 'I stayed at the Kings Chamber to visit my son. It's very conveniently near motorways but also tucked away and quiet. It's right next to a shopping and food outlet area but I ate at the Marston's pub next door which has super friendly and efficient staff and a warm atmosphere. The staff at the hotel and pub are what pushed my stay up to 10 out of 10.'

'Ruime schone kamer. Wel overlast van pub beneden (terras) en dat s'morgens om 6.00 uur veegwagen over het plein komt. Kamer was heel schoon en goede bedden. Pub voor ontbijt en eten was minder schoon. Wc zelfs smerig. Eten bestellen via een app., maar dan krijg je weer niet de 10% korting als gast. Dat was dus niet erg duidelijk en daardoor korting misgelopen. Bij inchecken zouden we nog moeten betalen, maar dat hadden we al voorruit gedaan.
