« Everything about our stay was excellent. The accommodation was warm, spotlessly clean and the twin beds very comfortable. The room itself was the smallest in the house but we found it more than adequate and were very happy with the space. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. The guesthouse is conveniently situated on the main bus route into the city so, as we did not have a car, there wasn't a problem getting out and...

« The clean and well equipped rooms are in a separate building to the pub itself so there are no food smells or customer noise. The setting is lovely with walks and the marina nearby. There is plenty of parking (free). All in all, great value for money. »

« Disappointed with room, cold - one radiator didn’t appear to work and one needed reprogramming in order to get warmth. The duvet was thin meaning we were cold during the night, and the bed was uncomfortable, so much so we nearly got up and drove home. Shower had black mould on head & pipe. There was a dirty towel, wedged behind the door on the bathroom floor. I went to use a beaker and saw that it was stained so gave up using anything in the kitchen. »

« The hotel was perfect for our stay. It was easy to access and peaceful in some lovely grounds. The room was clean and very comfortable. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant as we were attending a funeral in the area. The breakfast was lovely ; there was a great select of juices, cereal, fresh croissants and a nice selection on the menu for a cooked breakfast as well. Would recommend and use again . »
