Until now, I've been very happy with VRBO bookings. We had 6 nights at this apartment, from September 10-16. It's September 24th and I'm still annoyed.Pros: 1) clean apartment 2) well-stocked kitchen 3) Location - sort ofCons: 1) washer and dryer are NOT in the apartment, as listed, but down in the garage. Two large, commercial washers and dryers require payment (it cost me 10 to do two small loads - I separate whites and colors). Washers had very basic setting, yet difficult to understand how to operate, and cycle times weren't accurate. 2) I needed to iron linen pants to go out, but there was NO iron in the apartment, despite in listing3) Host guide gave two owner phone numbers to contact if anything at all was needed. I texted both phone numbers twice and to this day have still not heard back from them4) Bed is too soft. Mattress is cheap (or wearing out) and covered with a spongy topper5) Pillows are horrible, too high and lumpy. I woke up with a sore neck every morning6) AC in living room is not "central." It is a wall unit that we couldn't have on at night because it was too loud. As a result, we were too hot in the bedroom, despite one floor fan7) It may be a "Smart" TV, but there's nothing on but news channels. You have to log in with your own Netflix or Amazon Prime, etc., if you want to watch anything else.I will be far more diligent in future in reading negative reviews, because this one has them and there are similarities to mine.
