Room was nice. Beautiful location. We have stayed there several times as have family and friends but this was most likely the last time. Housekeeping staff was very kind. The front desk person and customer service were not very welcoming. They told us they would text when our room was ready and so we left the resort and waited. They never contacted us. We went back to the hotel and found out our room had been ready for a while. Several times myself and other guests went to the front desk and there was nobody there.
We had a weeklong reservation and found when we called for coffee for the coffee pot in our room ( 2 packets were provided) that you had to pay extra for coffee. I would hope when you’re staying and paying resort fees for a week you could at least have complimentary coffee in your room. That’s how other resorts/hotels are that we spend time at. I understand it’s a small thing, but when I contacted customer service they had no desire to accommodate or work with us. So it wasn’t about the coffee at this point. It was the principle of the thing, and the fact that they were rude and not accommodating. We were actually looking into a timeshare at this resort as we spend time in that area, we have now chosen to move on to a different one because if you can’t get decent customer service for small things like coffee, what are the big things going be like? They need a happier reception staff and customer service revamp to bring this resort back to what it used to be.
