'My wife and I needed a break from a fast paced couple of weeks of our vacation. This chateau and the property it sits on was nothing short of spectacular. As an extra bonus, Tess, Daphne and Celia were there to serve and help us with all of our needs. The breakfast that was served was always the best of the best, including homemade jams. 'Really wonderful accommodation. Walking distance to town. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. 'Our stay was unforgettable. Olivier and Nathalie are wonderful hosts of a very beautiful hotel with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The dinners (table d'hôtes) were phenomenal with excellent wine pairings from the region. We also very much appreciated the recommendations on things to do in the vicinity and which scenic roads to take. We felt like we stayed with family. It was so peaceful and restful that we can't wait to go back and stay longer. Very highly recommended!'

'Loved the location, the room, and the ease of checkin. It felt like we were on a street in “real Bordeaux” but we were a five minute walk from the tourist center. Easy self check-in (they send you a code an hour beforehand) and lovely breakfast. Next time we’ll stay longer!!'
