When we arrived the owners were already waiting for us and were so kind and showed the house with all facilities. 'We enjoyed a week in this gite - two adults and two teenagers (1518). It’s located quite close to Bordeaux, in the middle of a wine yard - very peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed. Communication with owner was very easy and they were very helpful and attentive to our needs and wellbeing.'

'from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and the feeling grew as the stay progressed. Fran is a very friendly host and her husband John was just as welcoming. The gite and pool are in a beautiful, quiet, nature filled part of the Charente. The decor in each room is a clever mix of antique and modern. It is immaculately clean; generously equipped; a well insulated house. We enjoyed feeding their hens too!! We fully recommend this gite.'
