'The staff was accommodating to hold our bags before and after check in and check out. They cleaned our room nicely after the first day. They provided various amenities including an extra set of bedding, toiletries, silverware, dining set, ice, and water with fruit. Overall, nice stay for two nights.'

'Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there.'

'Beautiful hotel with wonderful, attentive staff. The rooms were extremely comfortable with luxury bedding. My only concern was the breakfast offered. Premade sealed breakfast sandwiches you heat in the microwave and bagels that seemed like they were from a grocery store when the hotel could (should)source delicious pastries and bagels from the many fine local bakeries and bagel shops in their neighborhood, keeping with their upscale vibe. Rest your head, skip the “breakfast”'

'First time visit at this hotel and loved it from the moment we walked through the door. All of the staff were very helpful (had problems with the airconditioning after a couple of days, but were helped within minutes by being moved to another room). Special shout out to Douglas, who made us feel welcome from the very first second. He couldn't be any more friendly.'

'Goed hotel, dicht bij 2 metro stations. Met 10 minuten zit je op Manhattan. Kamers waren netjes. Vriendelijk personeel bij de receptie. Voor een verblijf in de buurt van Manhattan is dit een goede optie. '

'Het hotel is netjes, schoon en rustig. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel ligt in een rustige buurt dus weinig overlast van verkeer en sirenes. Vlakbij de metro dus met 3 haltes ben je in hartje NYC. 2 minpuntjes. Het ontbijt had vrij weinig keuze en iedere dag hetzelfde aanbod. De kamers zijn onderling vrij gehorig maar niet heel storend. We hebben prima geslapen. '

'Prima hotel als je dichtbij Manhattan wilt overnachten. Meerdere metro lijnen op korte afstand en binnen kwartier zit je in Manhattan. '

'Great location, although a bit noisy due to the subway station and the construction on the other side of the road, which made it hard to sleep without earplugs. Also very friendly staff! However, it was hard to reach anyone after checking out because I thought I had forgot something in the apartment.'
