The Space:
This is an Executive private suite (basement) in a townhouse built in 2014. The building is located on a beautiful street full of trees and green views. Since the house was built few years ago, you will have all the amenities expected in a new building. The house's theme is nature, so you will find plants around the house; your suite will have the name of an animal, and you will find some fancy wallpapers around. We are very friendly, and we promote friendliness and respect among all our guests.
You will use the main door of the house to come in (we use same entrance to access the house, so you may see someone around in the house). If you drive, you can park on the street (please, send us your plate number and province in advance if you require parking).
In the Raccoon private unit, you will have a bedroom with a Queen size bed, with a very comfortable mattress, a private desk in case you need to work, and a huge wardrobe to place your belongings. In the unit you will have a private washroom with shower, and an spacious living room with a sofa bed that can convert into a king size bed (please, double check the number of guests in your booking). You will also have a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, and a free coffee station.
In addition to all of this, you will also have options to access to our shared fully equipped kitchen in the main floor (shared space), in case you need to cook something. You will also have access to our shared living room. All the shared spaces are always kept clean, so everybody in the house is encourage to clean after themselves. You will have a great and different experience here!
Guest Access:
In addition to the ‘Raccoon’ guest suite in basement, you will be able/optional to access all the other open shared spaces on the main floor (restricted areas will be signaled with a board).
Indoor shared spaces:
- Living room. Spacious light room, ideal to read and hangout on the couch. It has a table to enjoy a coffee or tea while reading or relaxing.
- Fully equipped kitchen. You will find cupboards and sections in the fridge labeled "Help yourself", where you can take free food for breakfast, and drinks from the coffee station. You will find all the cutlery and dishes needed to cook, should you wish too. Cupboards and fridge sections are labeled with a predefined space for each bedroom.
- Dining room. Ideal to have bigger meals. There is a table to have meals, or to use as a work station, should you want to use this space instead of your guest suite.
- Laundry room (2nd floor). You will find the washer and dryer here, and all the soaps and things that you may need to do the laundry.
- Washrooms: fully equipped half washroom on the main floor.

Great value for what we paid. Everything was clean and comfortable. Only thing that might be nice is a little more separation in the downstairs unit- something to keep a bit of the noise from the common areas out?

Very clean and well located if you're visiting Calgary! We stayed here for the stampede so didn't spend too much time in the unit but a TV would have been nice to have for some down time! The pull out sofa was actually very comfortable and spacious same with the bed in the bedroom. The only thing we didn't love was the lack of privacy leading towards the basement unit. There is no door which I found off putting.
