« An amazing place to stay! Gorgeous views and animals to see and perfect local for take outs and small shops like Tesco or co op. Plenty to do around. Would definitely go back again! »

« We had a lovely break at The Warren. The accommodation is modern and luxurious, the setting is very peaceful, and the hot tub is wonderful. »

« Bright and cheerful with great local pubs. Perfect for a much-needed weekend break. »

« We booked babbling Brooke for a family break 4 adults and 2 children.Henry greeted us in arrival and was so helpful and lovely. He showed us round and explained how to use the hot tub. We were also left a little welcome pack of goodies. The barn it's self is outstanding, beautifully decorated and furnished. The woodfire hottub is lovely. If your looking for a peaceful break this is just perfect. We can't wait to go back »

« A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk. The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner. We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly. We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A...

« We were very comfortable in this property. The owner met us and explained the property. The property was exactly what we wanted for our few days there. We will certainly return. »

« Quiet location, shower needs to be renovated, fridge door should open on the opposite side, easy to hit your head on a useless wall shelf. »

« A very clean, comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need. Cosy and warm. Great walks from the door, beautiful area with all that the Derbyshire dales has to offer. There is a friendly pub across the road where we enjoyed a pint but only serving meals at weekends currently. 10 minute walk into the village where another pub, also friendly (the black swan) serves food but with a limited menu. There is an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal one of...

« Lovely holiday get away, horse stables on the working farm was lovely, was a shame my maltipoo dog did not feel the same way. Great value for money. Bottle of wine was very much appreciated. »

« Petit cottage simple, un vrai cocon de calme, sejour très relaxant dans une region où tout est a découvrir. »

« We had a great time at Rose Cottage. Perfect for a long weekend. Generally very clean but lots of dog hairs on the floor. Heating was very responsive, kitchen well equipped. Could do with a drying rack for the draining board and some tumbler sized glasses. Lovely soft towels and bedding, great shower. Best fish and chips ever from Robinsons over the road. Parking a bit tricky at times but all in all a lovely time! »

« I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay. »
