« Beautiful property and it was just what we needed to relax with the family for the weekend. The view of the lake was amazing! I just wish there was another ac unit in the 2nd bedroom it was hot and humid at night. But we stuck it out. I had no idea there was no soaps in the bathroom we made a trip to the small stores locally. But it had everything we needed for the amount of time. We left some wood for the next guest to enjoy as there was none there. »

« This house was really special and lovely, the location hard to beat. You could easily get to grocery stores and local places we've loved for years, or trot down to Burlington or Waterbury. The water was rare as it's a silt bottom (rather than rocks), and very shallow. Great for little kids, or if you want to walk far out and watch the sunset. The kayaks were wonderful to use to go along the coast on calm mornings. So grateful we were able to make more memories here! »

« Chalet rustique très confortable tranquille avec une vue superbe sur le lac. La baignable n’ est malheureusement pas possible devant le chalet car beaucoup d’algues. Nous avions trouvé un petit coin à 3 minutes en auto pour faire du paddle board et se baigner. »

« Just a wonderful place to relax and decompress. Major stores not even 10 minutes away on route 7. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing and the fishing right of the dock was fantastic. »

« This cottage was perfect! Everything our family wanted in a lake vacation. The kitchen was well equipped, and the furniture and beds were comfy. Cute decor too. We loved the location. The lake views are incredible from outside and the screened in porch. The kayaks were a blast. Very kind and friendly neighbors too. Hope to visit again one day :) »

« We had an amazing time at this perfect cabin/cottage/camp. It was a very relaxing stay. Roxanne thought of everything. We felt at home and had everything we needed while we were there! We plan on coming back next year and bringing our 3 kids with us! We cannot say enough good things about this perfect place! »

« The listing is accurate. The four of us had a great time fishing and swimming. We caught dozens of fish right off the dock and almost a large bowfin. St. Albans was a great place to eat and get groceries. We took a day to see Burlington. The cabin is large and all the amenities worked. We'd come back if it weren't so far away. »

« A truly delightful stay! Can’t say enough good things about the house, the setting, the owners and the location. We rented the home for one week to hold a special family gathering with our 2 daughters and sons-in-law. From the start, the owners, Peter and Kathryn, offered us early check-in, as soon as the property was made ready once the previous occupants vacated. And, on departure allowed us a later check out so that one of our sons-in-law could attend to an unexpected work-related emergency....

« We had a very pleasant stay! The house is bright, open, airy, very clean and comfy! The kitchen was well equipped and had ample counter space. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms looked new. The photos are accurate. The house is located in a quiet spot in the woods up a steep dirt road. We heard a lot birds in the morning and saw a black bear. The location is convenient to Waterbury and Stowe. We enjoyed the hiking, biking, swimming and kayaking in the area. Tom replied...

« Really enjoyed the stay here, very close to Burlington and a great lake escape. The beach is much bigger and nicer than expected, and use of paddleboards and kayak made for a really fun place to stay. Plenty of space, clean, and tons of outdoor areas to relax in. Recommend! »
