Creekside cabin

Lovely, peaceful cabin right on the creek. The kids enjoyed wading in the creek. Location is perfect. Town is beautiful and the drive in movie was a special unexpected treat for the adults and a fun new experience for the kids.

Out-of-Order...

Time for the owner to put some money back into the property by making some repairs. The sliding door, screen and vertical blinds were all non-functional. Steps at entrance need repairs. The tub in the main bedroom bath is "out-of-order." Overall quite clean, however we did find trash and things behind the dressers and nightstands. Know that "creekside" is actually down quite a long steep hill and you really can't hear the water flowing. The night sky is beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked. We are well traveled and it seemed a bit overpriced to us. Happy travels to everyone!

A Perfect Bachelorette Party!

We came here to celebrate our friend, hike, soak in the hot springs, and eat good food. This cabin was perfect for that, it was clean, comfortable, and so well stocked (every detail was thought of). The creekside spot was so peaceful and we had plenty of space to spread out. We love the creekside!

A little bit of Heaven

The property is very nice. Located in a great area of Colorado to visit many other sights without having to drive so much. The cabin was so nice and comfortable. Loved the surroundings. We will def stay again.

Family time

Something for everyone. Had various ages and interests. Very comfortable and organized. Needs access to lower patio with table and chairs from house. Area not used by us. Sliding doors to it but no access to door. Had to go down steep steps to reach area,very inconvenient ,not able to be enjoyed by older family members. Nice place though, would rent again.

Wonderful!

This creekside cabin is the perfect place to enjoy time in Buena Vista. The cabin is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. The views from every window are amazing! We loved sitting on the porch in the morning to drink coffee and watch the sunrise and light up Mt. Princeton. The location is perfect. We can't wait to return!

Outstanding Accomodations!

Everything about this property was excellent. From our initial contact with the property manager (Carrie) until the time we left, things went smoothly. The cabin lacks nothing in the way of amenities and ranks as one of the best places we've stayed. It is close to town, but out where you are away from sound of traffic. We were able to enjoy the towns 4th of July fireworks event from the front porch! Carrie provided a detailed list of trails/activities in the Buena Vista area which we utilized to our benefit during our stay. There are great views from the cabin as well. We appreciate you allowing us onto your property.

Nice Cabin

It was super nice, but one thing stood out to my wife: the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (teas, coffee, spices, ziplock bags, utensils etc). There is a ton of space for your family to spread out. We enjoyed the creek in the back! Also, very quick drive into Buena Vista, which we thought would be a great place to live.

Buena Vista getaway

My family and I stayed at this Buena Vista cabin for 2 days during our summer Colorado vacation and we had a wonderful experience! The cabin is very new and in great condition. The kitchen, baths and bedrooms are pristine. Our kids loved the loft bedroom. There is a creek behind the cabin with a picnic table. The cabin is conveniently located 2 minutes from town, is close to white water rafting outfitters, and is located right off the road that leads to the Cottonwood pass and the continental divide not to mention numerous hiking trails. You can’t go wrong with this cabin!

Creekside Cabin - The Best!

Thank you again for sharing such a special place! We loved our time at Creekside Cabin. It's a wonderful place to renew with scenic views, enjoy trout fishing, and gather with family! This was our third visit and we will be back! The Cabin is very accommodating, well stocked and most importantly CLEAN!! Absolutely perfect!

My husband and I stayed here for several days in September. The house is impeccably clean and organized. It’s very well stocked with all we needed except for a few groceries that we bought from nearby City Market. There is a creek that runs through the property behind the house, and the views of the mountains are beautiful! We had a small glitch with the internet, but Carrie was very quick to respond, and the issue was easily resolved. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you Carrie and Joe for opening your beautiful home to us!

What a great place! Cozy, clean, & comfortable. Close to town, but quiet and calm near the river and beautiful mountain views. Well appointed and equipped with all the tiniest details to make it homey. Across from the drive-in theater for added easy access fun!

Awesome place with great views!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carrie's cabin! We spent 3 nights there and it was very comfortable. Me, my husband, daughter & granddaughters had plenty of personal space. It was perfect for us with more than enough room to spare. Carrie was very accommodating and had a play pen for the baby and even provided a sheet for it. There were plenty of towels for everyone and lots of extras. Everything was very clean & organized. We loved the extra touch of the labels & signs around the cabin! Every drawer and cabinet was labeled with what goes where. The kitchen was well stocked with spices & seasonings as well as lots of dishes, pots & pans and utensils. The views were great and we loved being able to go down to the stream! We would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to the area! I would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay close to downtown Buena Vista.
