« We were so amazed at the cleanliness of the cabin and the beautiful location on Chemo Pond. The cabin was well stocked with linens and paper products. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We were close to both Bar Harbor and Bangor and spent a few days sightseeing. We bought live lobsters in Bangor and caught some fish in the pond so we made a seafood feast at the cabin. « Perfect place if your plan is too travel yo Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park. Property is located in a quiet area with easy access to restaurants and shopping ( i.e., Hannaford, Shawn's, etc). Property is not luxurious but gets the job done. »

« We had an amazing time here! The cabin is cute and very well appointed. Quiet, peaceful area. Good kitchen for cooking, grill, fire pit. The bed was comfortable. Very nice. Guests should be aware that swimming is a bit difficult in this location, and you maybe have to drive to one of the many nice local places to go swimming. Be sure to bring your own canoes and kayaks too! We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hospitality. »

« The cottage was lovely; there was everything we needed. The gas fireplace was wonderful so nice for cool evenings. The kitchen had all the basics for fixing a meal; but being half way between Belfast and Camden you have some wonderful places to eat! Also both towns offer a wide variety or shopping opportunities (no large box stores here!). The rocky coast lines is lovely! »

« Property was neat and clean. Provided with napkins tissues toiletries towels detergent basic kitchenette etc. it is located 10mins from Ellsworth and about 50 mins from acadia. Has bunk bed, small bed, futon and queen Size mattress. Has washer and dryer, which means reuse more and less to pack. It gets very dark in the night and can do star gazing. Overall worth it. »

« Excellent host! Great connections on the island for everything. Great information on Ferry status, etc. Cabin is truly rustic, spartan appointments as described. Great location and view west with good weather. Bring your goodies, luxuries from the mainland. Lobsters are available tho! »
