« This is my second stay at Art and Lodging South Bend. It is five stars across the board. Conveniently located near downtown. Convenient to Mishawaka and the Lake Michigan beach resort towns. The home has tons of character, is well maintained, clean, and beautiful. The beds are great. There’s nothing not to like. »

No room service during 4 day/3 night stay despite signage saying every 2 days. Trash by elevator ignored for over 24 hours. Employee upon check-in trashing company, new computer system, hotel, other rooms occupied when new guests went to room. Ice bucket lid upon check in, no ice bucket, no coffee pods in room at check in, no extra...

« Check in was super easy. I was able to check in early which was great because we made good travel time. The room was very large. Way more space than I have had in other hotel rooms with a pull out and two queen/ full beds. The wall paper was at the beginning stages of coming off in many places, the toilet paper holder fell out of the wall and there was a man’s dirty sock found between the bed and the wall ( there were no men in our room). There was only one elevator for a large hotel which...

« This place is great overall. Owners were very nice and accommodating, breakfast was delicious, private free parking it was an experience for the books. If we come back to south bend we will be trying to stay here again. »

« The mansion is a beautiful, historic treasure. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and tasty, and the amenities were very nice. The proprietor generously shared her time talking about the history, the community, etc. Highly recommend for those who enjoy indulging in history and beauty during their stay. »
