The Neighborhood:
Just steps from the Grand Place, right in the heart of Brussels’ historic city centre and the lively Îlot Sacré district.
You’ll be surrounded by cafés, traditional Belgian brasseries, restaurants, shops, and local food spots, with the Royal Galleries of Saint Hubert and many of Brussels’ main cultural attractions only a short walk away.
The biggest advantage is the location: ultra-central and highly walkable, making it easy to explore the city, enjoy its restaurants and nightlife, and reach the main sights without relying on public transport.
Getting Around:
Getting around is extremely easy thanks to the apartment’s ultra-central location.
On foot: Grand Place, Manneken Pis, the Royal Galleries, Bourse and Sablon are all around 5–20 minutes away.
Metro & tram: several central stops are located nearby, making it easy to reach areas such as the European Quarter, Louise, Flagey and the Atomium.
Train: Brussels-Central is within easy reach, while Brussels-Midi provides connections for day trips to Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp, as well as international trains.
Taxi & ride-hailing: a convenient option for direct journeys, late-night travel or when carrying luggage.
Shared bikes & e-scooters: widely available throughout central Brussels and ideal for short trips across the city.
By car: driving in the historic centre is generally not recommended due to traffic and limited, often expensive parking. If you arrive by car, the easiest option is to use a public parking garage and explore Brussels on foot afterwards.
In short: once you arrive, you can enjoy most of central Brussels without needing a car.
Other Things to Note:
Depending on the equipment, facilities and services actually listed as available in the advertisement, some of them could occasionally become unavailable, experience a temporary malfunction, operate at a reduced level of performance or require technical intervention for reasons beyond our control.
If an Internet or Wi-Fi connection is listed in the advertisement, it could occasionally experience interruptions, slowdowns, signal loss or variations in quality.
If a television is listed, it might not include television channels or subscriptions to streaming services. Guests would therefore need to use their own personal accounts. If no television is listed in the advertisement, no television would be provided.
If an air-conditioning, ventilation or heating system is listed, it could occasionally experience reduced performance, a malfunction, a temporary interruption or require maintenance. The indoor temperature could also vary depending on weather conditions, the building’s insulation and the configuration of the accommodation.
Where appliances such as a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, hob, coffee machine or any other household appliance are provided, they could exceptionally malfunction or become temporarily unavailable, particularly as a result of their use by previous guests.
If the accommodation is located in a building equipped with a lift/elevator, it could occasionally be unavailable, undergoing maintenance or out of service. Its operation would depend on the building management, co-ownership association or a third-party service provider and therefore could not be guaranteed at all times.
Equipment and facilities located in the common areas of the building, such as lifts/elevators, entrance doors, intercoms, access systems, corridors, lighting, parking areas, communal rooms or other shared facilities, could also be subject to breakdowns, maintenance or temporary unavailability for reasons beyond our control.
Odours could occasionally be noticeable inside the accommodation and could originate, for example, from drains, ventilation systems, common areas, outside the building or neighbouring properties. Even where smoking is prohibited in the accommodation, a smell of tobacco or smoke could temporarily remain if a previous occupant failed to comply with this rule.
The drainage systems of the shower, bathtub, washbasin, kitchen sink, toilet or any other sanitary installation could exceptionally experience slower drainage, blockages or other malfunctions. Such situations could result, in particular, from hair, grease, food, waste, wipes, products or objects being introduced into the pipes by occupants.
Water pressure, hot-water temperature or the temporary availability of water could also vary, particularly due to the public network, the building, boiler, water heater or technical maintenance.
Electrical installations could occasionally experience a power cut, overload, local failure or interruption related to the electricity network or the building. Certain lights, electrical sockets, electric shutters, blinds, switches or other electrical equipment could therefore become temporarily unavailable.
If an electronic access system, smart lock, keypad, key box, intercom or another access device is used, it could occasionally experience a technical malfunction, battery failure or temporary interruption.
If a parking space, garage or parking area is listed, access to it could exceptionally be affected by construction work, a door malfunction, a temporary restriction or an intervention by the building manager.
If a balcony, terrace, garden or outdoor area is listed, its use could occasionally be restricted due to weather conditions, construction work, building regulations or safety measures.
Occasional noise disturbances could also originate from the surrounding environment, traffic, construction work, neighbours, businesses, public events, municipal services or the common areas of the building. Such disturbances could occur independently of our control.
Private or public construction work, technical interventions, repairs, scaffolding or maintenance operations could also take place in the building, neighbouring properties or the surrounding street without us necessarily being informed sufficiently in advance.
Certain items of furniture or decorative elements visible in the photographs could occasionally be moved, replaced or removed if they become damaged, worn or unavailable, provided that this would not substantially alter the main characteristics of the accommodation.
Where a technical intervention would be required, we might need to contact a technician, tradesperson, building manager, property owner, supplier, utility operator or any other third-party service provider. Appointment availability, travel time, diagnosis, ordering of replacement parts and repair times would depend on the availability of those third parties and could sometimes require several days. As such delays would be beyond our control, an immediate repair or same-day resolution could not be guaranteed.
In certain situations, several successive interventions could also be required before the issue could be fully resolved, particularly where an initial diagnosis, replacement part, authorisation from the property owner or building management, or the intervention of a specialist service provider would be necessary.
Guests would be expected to use the equipment, sanitary installations, pipes, appliances and common areas in a normal and appropriate manner. We could not be held responsible for malfunctions caused by misuse, damage or the behaviour of a current or previous guest where such circumstances would be beyond our control.
By making a reservation, the guest acknowledges having read this information before booking and accepts that certain occasional or temporary incidents could arise during the stay.
The occasional occurrence of an issue relating, in particular, to Internet access, television, air conditioning, heating, water, electricity, a household appliance, drainage, odours, a lift/elevator, an access device, a shared building facility, parking, external noise or the time required for a technical intervention would therefore not, by itself, automatically constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, price reduction or compensation.
