The cabin was well thought out by the owners: s’mores kit, giant bubble outside for cold nights, toddler toys inside, etc. Unfortunately, the management company is lacking. We were told by Cain that we could check in at 2pm. At 3:15, we had an angry person from the management company knocking on our door because she “hadn’t done an inspection” prior to us arriving. She said she was not made aware that we were checking in early. Then we discovered that both the inside and the outside fireplaces are broken. We sent messages a couple times about it, and each time, Cain never responded, but instead sent his brother Rob out, who never knocked, but instead showed up in the backyard/deck where our kids were playing both times (the first time not even introducing himself). Rob immediately told us that the inside fireplace was broken, but he’d check on the outside one. When he did, he said it was broken as well. Despite them knowing the inside one was broken, this was not noted in the listing when we booked. We vacationed there during a cold, rainy weekend in October, with the sole intention of sitting by the fireplace and playing games! When I reached out to Cain to see if they would remedy by providing a discount on the cabin, I got no response.
