« My wife and I booked a stay here to get a relaxing child-free weekend away. We got exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was ready for use, the kitchen was more stocked than I expected it to be, the bathroom shower was nice, and the beds were comfortable. This location is on a literal mountain cliff and you’re going to be driving up steep gravel roads to get to it, so AWD is going to make getting to the stay less stressful. »

« The Whispering Hillside property was lovely, clean, and offered at a very fair price. The house itself was great, and I really enjoyed the hot tub during the first part of my stay.However, I did run into a major issue when the pipes froze, leaving the house without water. While this was definitely a downside for a short trip, I can’t say enough about the host, Karen. « My spouse and I had a peaceful weekend at this property. It was very clean with clear directions on use of all of the amenities. The hot tub is nice and all of the indoor amenities are up to date. We enjoyed its close proximity to Shenandoah National Park and had a nice day of hiking during our stay. We hope to come back again soon and would recommend this property to other couples looking for a relaxing getaway!. »
