Enjoy the short stroll down to Brixham’s centre and find a wealth of things to do on the harbourside. Sample the many seafood restaurants, stop for a pint in a sea-view pub, watch the trawlers come and go, and stride out along the dramatic Brixham Breakwater. For days on the beach, Shoalstone Beach, Breakwater Beach and lesser-known Fishcombe Cove are all within a mile. Connecting the beaches is the South West Coast Path, which you can explore further towards Paignton or the tucked-away Man Sands (both within 2 miles). Leave the car at home for the day and catch the Western Lady ferry from Brixham Harbour to Torquay. Other popular destinations nearby include Dartmouth and Totnes (both within 10 miles).

On the second floor, accessed via steep cottage-style stairs, you’ll find a cosy double bedroom, with restricted head height along with a flexible king-size room with zip-and-link beds that convert to twins on request.


Outside, accessed from the kitchen, down a few steps awaits a sun-catching courtyard garden. Enclosed and secluded, this peaceful space features outdoor seating, perfect for evening tipples and al fresco nibbles.
