'We traveled all the way from the United States for a very special occasion — our daughter's engagement at Chatsworth House — and The Pilsley Inn made the trip even more memorable. What a find!

'Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.'

'Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts.
I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect!

'My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast.
The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine.
The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip.

'Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Kettle and coffee machine with good supply of tea, coffee and fresh milk. Staff friendly and efficient. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. 'Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal.
Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning.
Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended.'
