'My second time staying at Holiday Inn Express. My room 211 felt smaller than my first room 108. A comfortable bed so I got a good sleep. The small table to sit down at was a little dirty as was the top of the shower head. Not a major problem but if I do stay next time, I would prefer to stay on the first floor'

'This hotel is always welcoming. I like the peace of the location and the absence of the big chain feel. Staff are like family and hotel has character. This stay over Xmas was enjoyable and provided a good base for family visits. Breakfast is legendary and a great start to the day. ( I have one breakfast credit I will be back to claim 😊) Bed was comfortable and shower was good those are the big asks. It has a small bar area that is quaint. The only improvement would be some type of evening...

'Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale.'
