Great location and condo

Host was very accommodating to our arrival and easy to communicate with. Condo was very clean and plenty of beds and space for all. As noted, this is on the top floor and there is no elevator. Dumbwaiter was not working so it was challenging to go up 4 flights of stairs with luggage and ski gear.

Ski trip

Let me start with saying this rental is beautiful, and clean. The host is friendly, easy to reach and helpful. We had a few things though, we wish we had known ahead of time. We were hoping for a true ski in ski out, but it’s a decent hike to the lift. It is ski in though, there is a run you can take that drops you off right at the condo. This unit is also on the 3rd floor and at the time the dummy waiter was not working. We were told it does not work a lot. So we had to carry a lot of gear up a lot of stairs. Lastly, the printed instructions left in the home about our stay did make us feel rather uncomfortable that if we didn’t leave the house pretty spotless we would be charged so it was a little hard to relax.

This property was very nice and we'd go back here again. The layout worked great for two families of four. Covered parking was a huge plus and the ability to ski-in and out was great.

Great location, plenty of beds and seating for our big family

The good:- Plenty of space for everyone to sit and to sleep. - Great location right next to the lift- Great resort. We LOVE Brian Head!- Loved the hot tub and sauna at the end of each day- Kids enjoyed the game room- Host was very quick to respond to texts and checked in by text to make sure we had everything we needed- Lots of space, comfortable layout, 3 bathrooms!- Really cool hidden attic play room for kids. The bad:- Dumb waiter has been out of commission for over a year and renters will not be allowed to use it if it ever gets repaired. So plan on carrying all your stuff up 3 floors. (Parking lot is the first floor)- WiFi was pretty spotty which made it hard for our kids to do school work or to do some other things we would have liked to do. - The electronic entry to the condo stopped working one evening when we got home, and we were locked out for about an hour until the host was able to get us a key. But the host assured us that this was the first time in 5 years that this has ever happened. We just hung out in the game room for an hour while the host figured out a solution.- The GM of the condo seems to not like renters and told our host we had too many people, even though we only had 9 (sleeps 10) and some other nit-picky things. - We wish the hot tub was open in the morning instead of not being open until 1:00 but that’s up to the HOA. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely return again. We absolutely loved the condo and location.

Lovely condo near Giant Steps

Property was well kept and as described in listing. Plenty of beds for our group of two families. Small issue with a broken coffee pot and the owner did everything she could to remedy the situation and had some k-cups delivered during our stay. Great location as well!

Family Snow Trip

My family (2 adults and 2 toddlers 4/6) had a fantastic vacation in Brian Head. The Giant Steps condo was very clean and beautifully remodeled however just an FYI the photos on VRBO are not up to date and not what I walked into. Still very nice but unexpectedly different furniture, tables, 2 sets of bunk beds and decorated for Christmas. A few recommendations for the future guests-Bring your own Duraflame/firestarter for the wood fireplace. There is a Jacuzzi in the second building bring your own towels no extra towels provided. Bring extra blankets and no coffee pot as stated. As discussed with owner there are some maintenance and broken things that needed to be fixed-TV, shower door etc. It was very close to one of the sky lifts (advanced lift) market, pizzeria and tubing. Loved the underground parking. It was snowing 2 out of the 4 days and it helped while unloading and staying of snow. The communication with the owner was awesome and very responsive!All in all we had a wonderful time!

Lovely home and great location!

Our family was lucky to have booked this great condo for the week of Christmas. Besides the beautiful decorations, the condo was stocked with everything we needed. Lots of little extra things like olive oil and board games. Tons of space for everyone to spread out and the sweet cozy fire place kept us warm. Great location, we were right on the great steps slope and next to the tubing hill. Having the underground parking was so convenient since it snowed 3 of the days we were there. Emily was so quick to respond to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Brian Head retreat

We had a fantastic stay at Brian Head. The condo is well equipped, impeccably designed, in one of the top spots in all of Brian Head for either ski or summertime. Communication with the Owner couldn't have been better. We will certainly stay there again.

Great centralized location.

The unit is spacious and in a nice spot close to restaurants and lifts. It was clean and comfy. We would definitely visit again. Air conditioning is listed in the amenities, however, I don't remember there being air conditioning. It's possible somehow we missed it since it was cool when we visited, and we didn't need air conditioning. (Most of the places in Brian Head do not have air conditioning.) If there really is no air conditioning though, the listing should be changed to reflect that. Still, a great place!

Great for our family ski week

We rented this condo for our small family ski week (2 adults, 3 kids) and the space was perfect for our needs. Modern interior and comfortable furnishings, with easy access to the ski hills and free bus shuttle line. We also appreciated the underground/covered parking, specifically with the snow and cold of the ski season. Fantastic property and great communication with the owners.

Great Location!

This condo is located just a very short distance from the ski lift which you can get to on skis. It is a spacious unit with plenty of bathrooms. One of the showers was not working so the owner graciously refunded some of our money for that inconvenience. But it was being repaired even as we were there. The owner was very responsive to questions and concerns. Our only issue was that it did not actually sleep ten comfortably as stated but we were able to make it work. All in all it is a beautiful condo in a great location. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was the nicest condo we had the chance to stayed at and had tons of thoughtful amenities that we felt at home during our stay. We got so many compliments from others on the floor at the Christmas decorations and especially the huge Christmas tree. It really made our trip memorable. We look forward to staying here again.

Stayed here when I ran the Cedar Breaks at Night half marathon. The location was perfect - short walk to the start/finish line. The condo was nicely furnished and made a great home base. We enjoyed being able to walk around this beautiful area.

We had son and family visiting and this facility really suited us—bedroom with 2 bunk beds upstairs for kids and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Everything you could need in kitchen, including spices, condiments, etc. Great location and fair price. Just a little trouble finding the unit, but owner quick to respond.

Perfect for families!

Our stay was over july 4th, so we had windows open most of the time, and even though the place is centrally located it was surprisingly quiet. Kitchen is well stocked, we had everything we needed to fix a few simple meals. *maybe a few fans for the loft and bedrooms for the warmer summer months* We would definitely stay again!

Great stay for winter skiing

The condo was great. We fit three adults and four kids great. Kids were up in the loft in the bunk beds. Place had games and movies, blankets, pillows - very homey. We would certainly stay there again. (The three flights of stairs was a lot, but always a great workout!)

Rented this condo with family for a fun ski vacation! We were able to walk out of the apartment building, attach our skis, & ski over to the ski lift! Condo was clean, had new perfectly working WiFi. Great communication with owner. We would love to stay again!

Condo review

The condo was very clean and nicely stocked. The location was great, it was easy to go in for lunch snd back out to the slopes. The only two issues were that we had no WIFi and no access to the dumb waiter. Both would have made our stay nicer. Overall I would recommend this as a nice place to stay.

Brian Head stay

The property was a great accommodation for our family, we were able to enjoy Christmas with no inconveniences, only complaint is the mattress in the room closest to the kitchen, definitely needs replacing it’s old and super uncomfortable, other than that place was a great pick, really enjoyed the underground parking as this prevented our car from getting snowed in, it was 3 flights of stairs to get to the condo but not a deal breaker, an elevator would b nice to carry stuff in n out but again not a deal breaker, kitchen is super tight but had everything you need, blender, pots, pans, dishes, whisk, literally everything you need for a functioning kitchen.

Rocky Start

When we arrived this unit was NOT clean! The cleaning service dropped the ball. Having no other choice, we decided to start cleaning. Luckily, we found some clean linens in a closet so we were able to have clean sheets and towels.. However, we were able to contact the agent a few hours after we arrived and she was extremely helpful and apologetic. Location was great. Kitchen was smaller than appears in the picture. the upstairs area is very spacious. Futon couch not comfortable enough to sleep 2. Beds need upgraded as well. OVerall, our stay was a lot of fun and we would book again,

Very nice hosts and good place to stay!

It is a nice place to stay for a short getaway. There were a few hiccups with the condo not being cleaned prior to our arrival and the wifi not working but the hosts were eager to help us get things sorted out right away. They were quick/responsive and overall very nice and helpful. Despite the few missteps, we enjoyed our stay.

Fun family getaway

We had an amazing time and loved the condo. It was perfect for our family. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was unclear in our check in instructions what building or the location of our room which made it difficult to find in the evening when we arrived. We also had a difficult time knowing how to work the TVs and there wasn’t any instructions for them. You have to be willing to climb flights of stairs to get to the room but otherwise it is well kept and very comfortable. The location is perfect. We visited in the fall and loved being by the lake to fish. It’s a great place to stay!!

Such a fun stay here. The condo is as listed. Clean and cozy. One of the neighbors was doing construction on the unit right below us. Had some late night and early morning construction noise, which is nothing to do with this condo owner just something to be aware of. Other than that was very nice an relaxing.

Great get away

Stayed here to enjoy the mountain biking and scenery and was a great midway point between Zion and Bryce Canyon. House was well equipped and clean. It did get warm but there was a fan provided to bring in the cool mountain air in the evening. Home was great, though the building amenities could use some updating such as the dumb waiter and the game room (these are all brings the owners control). Would come here again

Amazing Home

This was a wonderful place to come “home” to after long hours of exploring Cedar Breaks, Brian Head and Zion National Park. It had everything we needed and could ask for. It was very clean and well stocked. Definitely would come again and recommend to friends and family!

We had a great week and appreciated the access to 'extras' in the kitchen. Game room and hot tub were a fantastic bonus. 3 flights of stairs, no elevator and broken dumbwaiter was a challenge. Very warm in the summer - no AC! Overall, lovely place and nice central location.

Elevation in Utah!

Awesome little condo in a ski resort. Although it was small, it slept 7 comfortably and there was room for more. Instructions were clear and notes were left by the owner inviting us to use whatever was there. Super friendly and easy to deal with.

Great location, comfortable condo. Great amenities, but was not able to use due to maintenance. Walk to slopes and restaurants. Only downside is 3 flights of stairs at that altitude with luggage, gear, groceries, etc., takes a tole.

The Perfect Family Getaway

We come to Giant Steps each year and this was one of the best units we have stayed in! The views were unbeatable to start. The unit fit our big family very comfortably: 4 adults and 5 kids ages 4-16! The kitchen was well stocked, we barely needed the condiments and cooking accessories we had brought with us. There were extra towels, toiletries, trash bags and more. Plenty of board games and a smart tv to keep the kids entertained when inside. The entryway had the perfect set up for storing wet snow gear to dry. The only downside to the complex was that the dumbwaiter was broken. You can't beat the ski in/ski out complex though. We rarely got in our cars. It's a very quick 2- 3 minute walk to the main lifts and lodge as well as an AWESOME sled hill and playground with picnic area. There was a bonus mini hill between the lodge and the complex that our 4 year old learned to snowboard on! Can't beat Giant Steps and it's location but the unit was awesome to come home to. We actually reached out to Vicky throughout our planning including requesting to extend our stay. She got back to us right away each time we reached out and was great to work with! Thanks so much, we will be back for sure!!!
