good enough for what we needed

Reviews are very mixed for this house, so I will share all my thoughts in hopes to help. Here are our pros and ConsCons: It needs a very good dusting--there were spider webs and a thick layer of dust on the light fixtures. Run down a bit-The pool table has a huge tear in the top, we found ping pong paddles, but we no ping pong table, and a dart board but only two broken darts.Not a big deal, but maybe shows lack of attention--they still had a Christmas tree up and some decorations--we stayed there in June. No yard really for kids to play in, but that was okay because, we went out hiking every day.Pros: The house was quite large and had ample space for our family of 6.Pretty clean—clean enough we felt comfortable walking barefoot and sleeping there (it was just a bit dusty) The kitchen had very nice appliances and was a great space to cook in. Big fridge, nice oven.The house is very close to a little grocery store (I think there are only two in Brianhead).Very easy check-in and check-outBig bedrooms I think we would consider staying there again.

Extremely drity upon arrival

Cabin was extremely dirty, all bathrooms had dirty towels on the floor in the sinks and the trash full. All room where not cleaned beds undone. Kitchen was dirty trash full. I was told by the service representative to wash the towels and sheets if we wanted to sleep in clean sheets. Never heard anything back from anyone. Extremely disappointed!!

Beautiful cabin but lack of cleanliness

Bad experience as the cabin we rented wasn't cleaned prior to our arrival. It seemed as if someone rushed out and did a half a** cleaning. I found myself on a stepstool cleaning all of the upstairs bedrooms light fixtures/fans/nightstands/headboards as they were full of dust & cobwebs (see pics) the stove &counters had crumbs, floors were not swept/vacuumed, closets had linens just thrown in them , it's unfortunate when you're coming as a fam vacation and end up cleaning the 1st day after a long drive.We reached out to vacasa regarding the matter, they directed us to the host, the host directed us back to vacasa and neither wanted to take responsibility for lack of cleanliness as we requested for them to make it right. Very unfortunate as the cabin is beautiful but there's rodent dropping and the lack of cleanliness definitely doesn't help the matter .(Pictures taken were just to show small amount of our testimony) I was more worried of getting everything cleaned and ready for our 5 day stay. One of the bedrooms on top floor bed is not on a bedframe, the boxsprings sit on the floor, a chair from dining room is broken, there are no snow shovels (which is a necessity when you get dumped 3-4ft of snow . We made the best of it of course but unfortunate circumstance. This was our first time using a cabin that's managed by vacasa , we will definitely not use them again as we try to go every year to brianhead . Prop mngmt or host didn't take responsibility for lack of cleanliness

Not clean

Our stay was okay. There was no paper towels in the kitchen also it was full ofDust and spiderwebs I know it’s a cabin but a lot of that could of been prevented. I read the reviews after booking and seen the dust comments, but I was hoping our stay would Be different. Location was great

So much promise but fell far short of expectations

The property is in a great location and has a nice overall layout but the maintenance and cleanliness of the home was severely lacking. Cob webs all over, crickets/bugs as well and that’s to be expected being somewhat isolated but didn’t expect to find a mouse trap in a silverware drawer. The exterior of the home has several broken trim pieces and the paint is peeling all over. Inside, several appliances were broken or in disrepair. Just about every electrical outlet was overloaded with extension cords running all over the place. It just seems the owners or property management has never looked through the eyes of their renters.

Brian Head Beauty Vacation

Home is great - owners spared no expense when building it. Floors and some areas were dirty when we arrived. Vacuums were broken so we couldn't vacuum it ourselves until someone came the next day per our request and fixed the vacuum. Also l left 3 shirts in the basement bedroom closet - is there any way to retrieve/mail it to me -?

Could be great with a deep cleaning and maintenance.

It’s a beautiful property that hasn’t been properly maintained. The kitchen desperately needs a good cleaning and repairs. We cleaned up some just to use the kitchen.

Cabin is nice, but

Cabin is nice and great amenities. Property Management was terrible, unresponsive, and not worth the fee. I called and spoke with someone at VACASA but did not get the promised service/fixes. Nor follow up on my concerns.

Great Cabin

Great Cabin, the family loved staying there. Plenty of room and great views. I would stay there again. We had to be careful about only turning the hot water on in the sinks as it had a tendency to be super hot. The location of some of the light switches was unusual, around the kitchen especially. Overall a great stay

Elevated cabin experience!

This cabin has a lot great features and plenty of room for a large group. We stayed during our summer break and Brian Head was mostly deserted, which we liked. The nearest well stocked grocery store is in Cedar City, 35 minutes away. The cleaning company did not do a great job before our arrival but the management company was very responsive. It is important to know it is at 9600 ft of elevation, so be prepared to deal with the altitude. We also recommend a four wheel drive vehicle to access the roads around the cabin.

Cozy family cabin

Great cabin for family! We stayed here for a long weekend and loved the layout and cozy cabin feel! Tons of snow in the winter; house was well kept with some minor issues but overall great value and great home!
