« I don’t know if a review is needed as day 2 of our stay a for sale board appeared outside! Room sizes great. As November we didn’t use the outside facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. The radiator in the family bathroom a friend burnt herself. It does get red hot so be careful. We struggled a bit with the heating as it was really cold at the beginning and then extremely warm. « The Old Barn was beautiful but as a large family group it didn’t provide the most practical of facilities. Hiking through the lounge and upstairs to eat on the deck was a mission. The dishwasher was in the most ridiculous cupboard which was a nuisance to open, as was the bin! It lacked a tumble dryer which is essential for families on wet days and we had to ask for cleaning materials such as a mop to keep the floor nice during our stay. « A new modern property clean and comfortable definitely pet friendly we had our dog who loved climbing up the steep garden that may not suit an older dog. Hot tub was excellent and a good drying room for towels etc. Unfortunately the lack of hair dryer did create a bit of a problem. Owner was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. We would definitely go there again if in the area. »
