'Our first night the TV did not work and we were not able to adjust the temperature in the room because the thermostat displayed the message "low battery". . So the first night was freezing. They did respond quickly to text but did not repair until the next day. The building is older so its understandable that its not in new condition but we heard the wind howling all night long. The window obviously needs repaired and they attempted to patch the window with a couple pieces of wood. That clearly...

'The room was very clean and comfortable, and it was extremely quiet. Great location! Room is quite small though, and it would be nice if there was an extra (heavier ) comforter /blanket in the room. I didn't realize when I booked that it wasn't a standard hotel (like with a lobby/reception) , but it worked fine. excellent communication w/host.'

'This is not the Boston Harbor Hotel. It is a simple, clean, quiet and cost-effective place to stay in Greater Boston. We are commuting from here into the city for medical care. A place with a full kitchen, no noise and a pleasant landlord is just right. There's a friendly little Central American store next door with basic necessities plus interesting ethnic foods. Plenty of Asian restaurants within walking distance, plus a fine Greek place.'

'All was great, the appartement itself, the location and not the least the use of the gym, dundeck and pool. Really a great place to enjoy Boston!'

'We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for exploring Boston, with close and easy access to public transportation. The unit had more than everything we could have needed. The communication with the host was excellent, and they were quick and responsive. We would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend it to all.'

'The rooms are not big or super nice—think slightly larger dorm room with an en suite bathroom. You can clearly hear every sound on the street, including an average volume conversation from across the street, and plenty of sounds from individuals in other units. The room was super clean, so kudos to the cleaning crew. The plus is the location. So if you want to have easy access to the city and just a place to sleep, this is the place for you.'

'We absolutely love these units. The owners are so nice and communication is clear. My one and only suggestion after staying here for a couple years now is please put mirrors in the bedrooms. When you have multiple people trying to shower and get ready every day and only mirror is bathroom or by the front door, it’s a little awkward trying to get ready each day. But overall it’s wonderful and we will be back again!!'

'My stay at Hygge House was beyond exceptional. The Hygge Team was helpful and prompt when I had questions or needs...they were always so very pleasant. The room was perfect for a single person and complete for all of my needs.The Hygge house is located behind the main street in Newburyport town, so access to all and everything was a hop and a skip to food, great shopping, sight seeing, etc.Surprisingly, the town is quiet and considering superior access to everything...I slept like a lamb in the...
