'The house was amazing, the check-in experience was awful. The house is loosely connected to the hotel which manages the check in, but the house is actually family run. The front desk agent was friendly, but had us sit for almost an hour without an update. The restaurant refused to book us stating we weren't part of the hotel, despite the fact that the front desk disagreed. The house made up for it.'

'Mulakot 3 is a situated on a hillside with a beautiful view. The cabin is well equipped and we enjoyed the use of the fireplace and sauna. I can highly recommend the cabin for a group of 4x'

'This was our second trip to Iceland for hiking. This place is amazing! Lots of room, very comfortable and quiet. Very modern, clean, and well-laid out. Great eating area, plenty of room for relaxing, and great windows with a spectacular view. We launched from here to hike at Glymur Canyon, Haifoss Falls, and Skogafoss trail, all under a 2 hour drive. Also, very close is a great hike called Midfell at Fludir. Easy drive to Vic. We also made it to Mulagljufur Canyon (spectacular) near the Glacier...

'Alvorens de reis vanaf Akureyri richting Borgarnes aan te vangen, nam ik voor de goede orde contact op om door te geven dat ik na de uiterlijke inchecktijd van 19:00 uur zou aankomen. De zeer behulpzame dame, deelde mede dat mijn komst rond 21:00 géén enkel probleem was. Een en ander bleek na aankomst zonder enige overdrijving, alles klopte, de kamer met kitchenette, uitstekende sanitaire voorzieningen. Vlakbij ligt Borgarnes, en beukt de Atlantische Oceaan op het basalt wat hier aangelegd is...

'This house and the area are beautiful. We stayed here for 3 nights and two evenings we saw the northern lights from the hot tub. The house is very luxurious and everything is there (also a lot of towels). Top! The Snæfellsjökull National Park is not far and is beautiful to visit. The Golden Circle is also easy to do from here. We really enjoyed everything. The communication with the owner of the house went perfectly and everything was clearly explained. We definitely recommend this house.'
