'The basic stuff was great. Check in was easy. Great area. We picked this cottage as it was close to several things we wanted to do. It is right across the street from the Railroad Museum which is awesome. Bring everything you think you might need. A few simple things would make this place a five. 'The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. We ended up calling VRBO the night before as we were scared from the lack of contact. They got ahold of the host who finally answered us the night before arrival. At...

'Absolutely gorgeous! This is completely secluded in the woods with total privacy but just 5 minutes from town for restaurants, mini golf, ice cream and a sweet little park on the Kennebek River. Every detail was well thought out and everything we needed was provided for us. Camping without any of the work. Darts, cornhole, board games, hammock, propane and charcoal grills. A woodstove is in the tent foe cooler weather and firewood is included on site! The solar generator provided plenty of power...
