We ended up spending far more time in the Robin’s Nest than originally planned, so I feel confident in saying it was a comfortable home away from home for us. We made a couple of meals and streamed some movies on the smart TV, but mostly we lounged around when we weren’t out seeing the soggy sights. »

« This was a lovely place to spend a night catching up with some family--it was a meeting point for us coming from different directions. The rural-ish but neighborhoody surroundings, and the beautiful canal and walking paths along it, were lovely and relaxing. A nice respite from the city. The house itself was cute and homey. « Emily and Chuck are fantastic hosts and the Dome was a great place to stay. Had come to finish riding the C&O canal trail, some hiking and visiting DC. The Dome is very quiet. Got to see hummingbirds visit their feeder multiple times and cardinals and purple finches coming to the seed feeder. Also got to see multiple deer, rabbits and butterflies.
