'The house is lying in a small quiet village. 10 min. from shops and restaurants. The kids (and we) enjoyed the pool a lot. They house is big and stays cool. Philip has been a great host! Very friendly and open to share advice on things to do in the area. The house has everything you need inlcuding TV and good wifi inside and out. The dog is very friendly, also for the kids. We had a great relaxing time! Thanks Phil!'

'The house was beautiful. Welk equiped kitchen. All items we ever needed were available. Good beds. Communication with owner Fabienne was very good. We were with 2 families and had plenty of room. Swimming pool was fantastic and acces was safe for the 2 Year old. We loved everything about the house.'

'Ik ben gevraagd een recensie te schrijven over ons verblijf maar die is helaas niet positief in tegenstelling tot andere reviews. In onze optiek is de status van onderhoud van het huis slecht. De foto's zijn van een aantal jaren geleden en komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid en daar schrokken wij van. Wij vonden het zwembad slecht onderhouden; het meubilair bij het zwembad is van plastic en vertoonde scheuren in het ligbed. Ook was het meubilair erg vies. De parasol die er lag past niet en...

'We loved this property. Probably one of the best we’ve stayed at. Supermarkets were a 15 min drive, as was the nearest (open!) boulangerie in Castillionnes. The house had everything we needed. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Fans in the main house bedrooms for warm nights and my parents had A/C in the pigeonnair. The pool was fabulous, much needed in the summer sun. 'We were looking for a large house to stay in and it didn't disappoint. Large bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms were very handy. And the kitchen comes well equipped. A very big garden and lovely swimmingpool. Communication with the owner was reliable, clear and fast. The only "problem" we had was with this VRBO platform. There are no reminder mails to pay (luckily I saw it on time) and payment doesn't go smoothly. But that has nothing to do with the house. We had a fun holiday!'

"Het huis en zwembad zijn heel goed MAAR… wel geluidsoverlast van nabij (70 m) gelegen ‘jongeren/groeps-accomodatie’ waar tot 45 p zaten met harde muziek buiten tot laat in de avond en joelende schreeuwende jongelui rondom hun zwembad tot na middernacht! Dat is echt erg jammer in de mooie rustige natuur waar het huis ligt! Je moet dus de mazzel hebben dat die jongerenaccomodatie net niet verhuurd is in jouw eigen huurperiode. "
