'The hotel was wonderfully located in Bo Kaap on the slopes of Signal Hill, with a great view over the city. The hotel was of a high standard, with large rooms with lots of characters, clean and comfortable. The hotel had an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner options and the breakfast included in the room rate was good too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a stay in Cape Town.'

'Hele fijne buurt met alle lekkere restaurants om de hoek op Breestreet. Hotel ziet er mooi uit en kamers waren keurig met water in de koelkast bij aankomst. Gehorigheid is wel een ding. Veel lawaai tot een uur of 2/3 in de ochtend (zelfs op de 6e verdieping) vanaf de Shortmarket Street waar een club en bar zit. Maar als je daar geen last van hebt, een geweldig hotel om te verblijven. Ik zou weer terug gaan! '

'Everything was great. 1. Mainly the daily maintenance and stuff behaviour was so good. 2. I reached around 12 pm and the check in time was 3 pm, I requested them for early check in and they immediately gave me one clean room, thanks for that. 3. There are some good restaurants in the neighbourhood, so it’s convenient. I have some suggestions for the house though: 1. One exhaust fan in the toilet will be helpful. 2. The bathroom door should close properly otherwise unwanted smell from bathroom...

'This hotel looks rather new and occupies 3 floors of an appartment/office building. The rooms are a good size and have a nice bathroom. As always there is little room to store your clothes (no closets at all, only 2 shelves). The car parking is free, which is really nice. Our room on the first floor on the side of Strand was getting a lot of street noise. Also at about 4am every day we were woken up by the prayer call of a mosque nearby, which was annoying. So I would try to request a room away...

'Hotel reception is on the first floor of the building, which is served by a lift or you can easily walk up a flight of stairs (if you do not have heavy things to carry). First impression of Habitat is that it is modern and clean. My room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast area. Initially thinking that it would be noisy but it wasn't.
