The cabin was beautiful. It was clean but really needs a deep clean. Places were dusty. Our issue was the AC was not cooling the cabin. We messaged the host and while waiting for a response realized the unit had frozen over. We sent pictures to show how it was frozen on the outside and inside of the unit. We received a response that she was sorry and would see about getting someone out to service the unit. We turned it completely off so it could thaw and left to go hiking. While we were away, we were asked if it was ok for someone to enter the home while we were away. We said yes and thought we would come back to a cooler feel to the cabin. When we returned the cabin was HOT. The unit was still off and we contacted the host and she said she was still trying to get someone there. I kept her informed that we did turn the unit back on but it still seemed to be struggling to cool the cabin. We have not received any response and no one showed up. Our other couple slept with their windows open each night to get relief. My husband and I pretty much slept with covers off of us and we moved to the lower level which was cooler but not comfortable. Robin was very quick to respond with questions and insights to ideas on things we could do. I am not sure what happened with communication about the reported issue. We should have had a relaxing time but it was not very relaxing when you toss and turn all night due to being hot.
