' Prima huis om te overnachten op doorreis. Het ligt aan het meer. Als je van watersport houdt is het perfect. Het huis was prima, maar niet perfect schoon. Op de bovenverdieping lagen donkere haren, dat was jammer. Qua onderhoud stond het balkon op instorten, daar mag wel wat aan gedaan worden. '

'This spot was a great location - quiet but close enough to the lake and Promised Land park to easily enjoy activities. Everything was clean and well maintained, we didn't run into any issues during our stay. My daughter especially loved seeing all the deer and wild turkeys out the massive kitchen windows in the mornings!'

'I arrived later than planned so I got lost in the dark trying to find the place. Super cute and cozy. Close to the lake and restarting/bar. There is no heat, but the owner provided a space heater. I love the cold so I didn’t need it. '

'Front deck had thick sheet of ice on it. My girlfriend fell down 5 stairs as a result of this. Couldn't get in the property because the lock wasn't working. Couldn't sleep in downstairs bedroom because it was freezing because propane ran out. Spoke to property manager Candice '

'My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The place has a cozy feel to. Love that there was a grill (I love grilling in the summer) the firepit was extremely enjoyable and access to there Kayaks greatly appreciated. All furniture including the beds were comfortable! My one issue (which isn't so bad) was my daughter opened the front door, once open we couldn't lock it. To solve that I used the door and a chair in front of the door at night. Overall it was a fantastic place for a lake gateway!!'

'Had another great long holiday winter weekend at this property with friends and family. Easy access to Elk Mtn for skiing, fun playing on the frozen lake and cozy evenings by the wood stove and TV. Long dirt road to get there but wasn’t hard to navigate and still a close drive to general store (Cables), convenience store/pizzaria (Arlo’s) or restaurants (The Beacon) for weekend needs. 'Loved the old world charm combined with comfortable modern conveniences. Excellent location on the lake that offers good swimming and views. The kayaks and paddle boards were a big plus as were the yard games and extra refrigerator. My family, who lives in the area, came for a barbecue. The parking and spaciousness of the yard worked well. The property is an easy ride to local attractions and wonderful morning walks. Host was very responsive and positive.
