'Walked to the pool thru the golf course path. There are no sidewalks along the street to the pool. Downtown a bit too far to walk and had rain each day of our trip. Very clean home - only one small spider which is amazing given all the trees in Black Mountain. The gas fireplace was wonderful. Didn't use the grill. Very accommodating host. 'My husband, our dog and I spent a week in this wonderful, well appointed home located on picturesque property surrounded by massive Rhododendrons and moss & lichen-covered old hardwoods. There is a small, shallow creek in the backyard great for splashing around in the cool water. The hot tub was so relaxing. What got our attention to home was everyone had their own space with their children , and my husband and I were in downstairs separate from them which worked out wonderfully!
